He found out that she was cheating on him through those pics. But, contrary to what people say, they actually remain friends and she still says that he is one of the kindest people she has ever known.

Looking back at this as an adult, I think how toxic it was that Bella was kissing Jacob immediately after/just because Edward told Jacob that they are going to get married and she didn‘t want Jacob to do anything rash during the fight.

Literally my thoughts. It was very toxic on both ends cause Jacob knew if he’d say the right things he’d get what he wants since Bella didn’t want him to get hurt. And it wasn’t fair on edwards part either , I would’ve been pissed.

You are wrong Avolette, because Edward didn't tell Jacob, he said to Bella it won't make my top 10 favorite evening's and Bella says you have a list and Edward says my favorite is when you said that you will marry me Mrs. Cullen and Bella said this is the 20 first century and I could keep my last name. That's when Jacob heard all of this and said to Bella "YOUR MARRING HIM"? Bella turns to Edward and says you knew he was listening and Edward says he deserves to know and Jacob starts to walk away and Edward tries to stop Bella by grabbing her arm and she yells DON'T, and Edward has this look on his face of doubt and wonder? Bella goes after Jacob and says wait and Jacob says "I'm so done" Bella says stop your not thinking clearly he says I'll make it easy for you by going out there and killing something or getting killed to make it easier for you and Bella says Jacob stay and he says give me one good reason and Bella says cause I don't want to lose you he says that's not good enough she says you mean so much to me and Jacob says still not good enough and starts to walk away and Bella says "Jacob kiss me and Jacob turns around and Bella says I'm asking you to kiss me" and Jacob goes to her and they have such a wonderful passionate hard kiss (more than Edward and Bella ever had in my opinion until there wedding day) and Bella lost herself in that kiss 💋 of a very warm body she embraced and his hands on her body and then he held her hair tightly (by the way that kiss scene was a blooper watch that whole scene that I'm writing to you) and at the end of the kiss he put his hands gently on her face and gives her a very soft kiss and says that should of been our first kiss and then says I gotta go I'll be back!! Bella is so stunned by what just happened she stuttered stepped then looked back in the direction of Edward and got to him and said you saw and Edward said no but Jacob thoughts were pretty loud!! Bella says I don't know what happened Edward says you love 💗him she says but I love you ❤ more he says I know (unless you watched the extended movie he says more!!) So does that clear things up for you, I hope it does. By the way I did paraphrase some of that but mostly it just came from my memory of the entire SAGA!😉 I was in my early 40's when I watched all those movies 🎥 and I have watched them probably 150 times. So I was very much an adult and I definitely don't agree with your comment. Even when they are on TV 📺 not to mention all the times I watched them on blu-ray, JUST LIKE ALL THE HARRY POTTERS 😀😉 So I hope you can understand my thoughts on the matter. They both were terrible, awkward, and unnatural in this movie. It made it seem like a comedy or parody.

When she asks Jacob to kiss her.... Kinda makes my stomach turn. As a married man or vowed to marry another person, I would never cross that boundary. I am not even religious but marriage is so much more than some people comprehend. It is vow, a promise, a commitment. It was broken it seems so quick. Even reading it in the book made me upset. For all the married folks put there, please tell me your thoughts. Am I alone on this? When I married my husband, I made a promise. I would rather die than break it. It's probably the most important contract I have ever made

Actually, I would interpret that completely differently (which is also in line with the description in the book) - She is EXTREMELY nervous walking down the aisle because she hates the way everyone is looking at her (due to her intense dislike of being the center of attention, being afraid to trip, etc), however, when she spots Edward she forgets about everyone else and just realize that everything is perfect because she is about the marry him. I do think it comes across in Kristen Steward's acting here as well, as her breathing becomes more normal, and she walks steadily towards him after she sees him, never taking her eyes off of him. It is really described exactly like that in the books, even that she was ready "to sprint directly towards him" after she sees him there.
