This one was a collaborative effort with my manufacturer. They are truly great. Did you notice the top cap on the top of the stem so you can essentially use any bmx stem and still keep it locked down with the top cap. I can’t wait to see everybody’s creativity.

Hey David I like the product makes it look 10x better. I just ordered the shorty kit about a week ago and have not gotten a tracking number. It says 5-6 weeks on your site before its shipped out, hopefully sooner because I get too excited and impatient..The waiting game kills me.

The xp lite doesn’t need a quill stem adapter The xp 2.0 does need a quill stem adapter

Yes both will fit on that bike. But the shorty would probably be the better choice because the steerer tube goes pretty high up on the bike. That bike does not require a quill stem adapter

Great product. I know the total height is a 120mm but wondering what is the height when it's folded from the bottom to the folding line. Im trying to figure out if my heybike tyson is going to fit in my SUV After folding it or if its going to be taller than it is now with the standard handlebar setup. TIA

You can add any bmx or mountain bike stem to the shorty. If you are looking for more height then the FX would be a better option

David I like the look of the turtle neck shorty but food for thought you could make a extremely lightweight version of the turtle neck and sell it to the folding bicycle market especially the Brompton owners. Ebike weight don't really matter but there are some bicyclist and ebikers who are willing to pay top dollars for lighter version of Turtle Neck Stem. I wonder if a Carbon Fiber Turtle neck can be made. This way you will have a product that can be used on Ebikes and regular folding bikes, I just had to throw this idea out there.

Hey thanks for the suggestion. Thats a really good idea. It would have to be super strong too. This one is super strong with no welds and secure top cap design. There will be more turtle neck stems to come for sure
