Also there's a small Allen screw in the end of the piston screw to adjust the clamping strength (most people miss it). Adjusting that makes a big difference!

@@DavidBrandNew Another triangle battery question. Did you try putting the "point" towards the front? Cause tire rub? weight/center of gravity gives worse handling? It might still allow folding. This is a super awesome mod that can be applied to the many folding ebikes in this style, including range extension: 52v triangle battery, with small controller where original is, and a "battery paralelizer" that keeps original battery, and its range. Folders with premium 17.5ah internal batteries exist. Large 52v triangle battery, built to take 8a charge, with grin satiator, means quick charging on the go and bike speed/range records for touring, or just going 100km to a restaurant that will let you recharge, and then comming back 100km in same day. Fast.

Probably close to 40 depending on your weight. Depends on the controller as well

Does anybody any 20x3 72v 2000w rear conversion kits?. I have lectric 2.0 and the rim/tire size are 20x3, from what I've been seeing, alot people who have the upgraded hub motor on the lectric have the 1.0 that has rim/tires size of 20x4 and all the conversion kits online are 20x4. Does any body know a way around this?

I am debating on doing this upgrade to my year old Lectric XP "Electra", my hub motor wire got damaged on my last ride and it's either replace the hub motor wire coming out of the motor, requires soldering, (pain in the ass), replace hub motor with same or go ahead and upgrade with a kit. Any recommendations?

I would try fixing yours first. If it doesn’t work then just upgrade to a larger motor. Theres tons on amazon. I get mine from alibaba but it takes forever to receive

@@DavidBrandNew thanks for the advice and great videos, I just ordered the wire for $16 and taking to a local shop to have it soldered when it comes in. I did buy a new Ebike last month a Cyrusher XF 900, but won't be in until end of the month so I am e-bikeless for now. Can I upgrade the hub motor on the Lectric to a 750 without having to upgrade the battery or controller?
