Hey hany! I’m 23 from Iowa and looking at getting into npc, but I know quite a few people who are doing some of the things that you mentioned in this episode. I honestly believe the only way to help is to do more of what you already did in this video. Talk about the details that are conveniently being left out of the message today. This is amazing, as someone when I was anorexic at the time I remember watching Dallas mccarver and thought wow, then within a very short time suddenly he seemed to be constantly over 300 then 315, then 330 then 345 and it was crazy seeing the change. Even if people don't like it when you say "people aren't ready for the Dallas mccarver talk" ready or not maybe the world need to hear what's really going on behind all the dancing around. I'm about to do my first show this year and I already see where it's going so touching on those subjects even for information purposes or a harm reduction side and giving eye openers is something that would be beneficial wether people are ready or not. Keep up the podcast and the honesty!

Hany , I found many times myself in a situation similar than yours...I neve wanted to be a victim and all I told myself why life is challenging ...yes life is hard and what should I do in order to step up or fix the issues....Nothing has never been easy...sometimes hard time make us think differently and deeply...But again life is hard ...only people on multimedia shows perfection and only about everything is all great.. Not true at all. .we all go through a roller coaster ...The questions are when and how you will be running when you can't walk ?Lots of energy and motivation with a faith in life...We are all very similar people.....with a different approach and a different way to use our minds...Good on you Hany ...You are a great person and you must have the right balls:) to open about your life ...well done!!!!.Iam like you a natural bodybuilder and into international competitive natural bodybuilding until 2015 ..I have been looking after my health for the past 37 years and It upset me so deep that so many people are using products who will jeopardize their health. For what? A trophy? A medal? A picture in a magazine .?Its not worth it..You is one thing but what's inside your body is the most important thing ....Even Natural bodybuilders got people's fingers pointing at us. .People don't know anymore who is doing what...shame really .I don't need a "drug sticker "on my forehead as I do everything to be seen or known as a true sport person and a Natural bodybuilder forever ...5ft 11 1/2 for 240 pounds off season and yes naturally made ..It really make me deeply sick to hear what is happening with bodybuilding these days ..It is like most people wants to get a short cut and look like crazy and dangerous...Take your time and enjoy the feeling of the gym training , cardio , etc .It is hardcore dude...lol....well its so stupid bro...because by the age of 25 you will be under 6ft of dirt just because its hardcore bro...:) 2 directions ....The smart one or the stupid short cut ..I choose my direction back in 1986 and I never look back...because I never wanted to be big but just having a body in harmony...At the end of the day you the ones who can say "no" to drugs...I said "no" many times knowing how bad the effects to our health are ...Simple as that...we only have one life and you don't want to waste it...Thats it.. Tell these morons they have a brain and then they can use it a better way..

Congrats Hany on your recent move, and I do hope that you find the balance you're desiring in your life both for yourself and family, and for the good of those you help and work with. As a natural Masters bodybuilder, I cannot tell you how many young guys come up to me in the gym and ask me what kind of cycle I'm on, seriously. It's the first thing many consider, unfortunately. When I tell them I never have and explain to them my consistency with sleep, meals,, and the gym they are disappointed in the answer. They often say, "Well, I don't think I could be that consistent". Work ethic seems to be a lost and sadly forgotten necessary component for this sport we all hold dear. I absolutely believe there is a right way to incorporate enhancements, but the road to success has been gravely altered with too much emphasis on shortcuts. We need more people in the sport like yourself who are willing to say what needs to be said. Thanks Hany. -Keith

The talk about the drug culture in Bodybuilding needs to be openly discussed. Its scary to see what young kids are doing now as far as drugs are concerned. I think a big part of this for youth is the fact that some feel that young people are indestructible. What I find scary is the amount of people abusing insulin at the advice of a "coach" One of the jobs of a coach is to ensure the safety of their athlete! Sadly some of these "gurus" aren't an advocate for health in bodybuilding. Kudos for talking about this Mr. Rambod!

Welcome back Hany and I found this to be a particularly solid episode. Like you, I'm also angry and frustrated by the trends where too many athletes are choosing to take the easy way out. I started competing at the age of 45 and being natural at the time, I competed in 12 shows natural over the next several years. And let me tell you, when you're an older female, going through menopause, AND being natural, believe me when I say I know what suffering entails. It requires a very different mindset that's often innate. I chucked when I heard you say "iron therapy" as that's the name of the podcast I do on RX. You mean it in the context of releasing stress, which it absolutely does. I mean it from the context of discussing and addressing various mental health issues bodybuilders struggle with, both in their personal lives as well as in their competitive lives. The problem is many people do understand these areas are problems, 'they' say something should be done, but no one does anything concrete about it. Until now; hence my podcast. I watch various bb podcasts, "The Truth" being one of them of course. It's my hope and goal to reach as many as possible in the form of education and strategies to improve people's lives. I know you want to do the same with "The Truth". It's like bb channels like ours that can make a difference so keep up the great work Hany! 👏💪

I love how you kind of explained backwards planning. We call it reverse planning and range of Italian but when you do admissions order operations order the weather and everything that's involved in that the situation the mission the execution the service and support the command and signal. When you're having to meet deadlines and timelines you have your big goals or key points in this missions but outside of that it sometimes it's hard planning because then you're left with all these empty hours so if you do reverse planning it's just easier but you also check your planning process. Make sure it's legit no holes in it. Generally you can find a more efficient way of doing it. But yeah you don't hear too many people speak of this. If anybody curious about it just go ahead and Google it and it's pretty simple but even in normal day your activity your life getting ready for work getting up and all that stuff having kids getting them ready for breakfast you'll see 15-20 minutes off your mornings you'll see. Then it was also show you sometimes how much of a lazy piece of s*** you are and you complain that there's never enough time in the day and then you find out that you still have like 6 hours every day. That's never good

What an outstanding podcast, addressing a problem that needs to wake people up. Social media has expedited things, to the point where the fans and avid lifters are fully aware of the downfall of the sport. I blame social media. It’s normalized all of the crap surrounding the sport that doesn’t need to be normalized. And young people have the attention span of a mosquito. So they can’t think about what it means to LOVE training, first and foremost. The whole fitness scene is remarkably screwed up. I remember Jay cutler saying in an interview, or in one of his dvd’s that bodybuilding was all about stress management for him. And he seemed to have reiterated numerous times , that he never ever lost sight of that. These are just some of my scattered thoughts, but the less time you focus on social media, and the more time you surround yourself with positive people in real life, the better off you will be. And I don’t care what industry it’s in. Have morals, and have common sense. And like you said Hany, if you were the next Phil heath, you would already know immediately. End of the report. God bless you Hany, congrats on the move!

A few days ago I decided to watch your whole channel from oldest to newest and right now about 3/4 of this podcast is where I’m at. This is by far, leaps and bounds your best podcast, hearing you just be raw about your feelings is so awesome to hear. I have always felt I was my true self anytime I was working hard and pushing myself past my limits weather it be mentally or physically as a kid and I’ve lost that through the years as it’s not the norm and I could not relate to others so I changed. Now I’m 23 and finding my roots again. Thank you Hany for this pod cast in particular it is very encouraging to know you are someone I can relate to. Also in my opinion with staying natural as long as you can and hit your genetic potential. If you notice a lot of the bodybuilders that don't have injuries like towards tendons and ligaments. It seems it seems to me. Cuz I never had issues because I trained naturally for years. So instead of your muscles getting bigger and stronger heading exponential rate faster than your tendons and ligaments you're connective tissue. Your tendons will actually strengthen at the same pace. So by the time you do they do or I took gear. There was more than adequate times strengthening and attendance naturally. I don't know if there's any truth to that but I've trained for approximately 15 years. I took a break and then I've been training again for 3:00 almost maybe. I started again at 39 but I couldn't train because of back fusions and stuff but that was because of getting blown up and all that good stuff.. everybody thinks steroids are a miracle drug. And they can be but you have to provide the environment or you see the guys that jump on trim their first cycle and they stay on it for a while. And because trin gets You full vascular hard grainy strong nitrogen retention glycogen retention. Obviously guys that are new when they gain those 15 20 lb of water and whatnot throughout this weeks and they don't really rely on their food or whatnot. They're using the trend as a crutch. When they come off of it for their PCT within 2 weeks they lose it all. And they jump back on. This is just some of the stuff I've seen

Wow what a episode, loving the no filter. We need The Truth! I feel as though u may have saved a life with this with some of the youngsters thinking. How about this as an idea, you find a young adult that has a great mindset and take them to their genetic potential, not for a contest just to show these young guys what is possible with hard work, without the drugs. "Finding your Potential" the series Just a idea.

I couldn't agree more about train naturally for a good bit of time. And as I mentioned it in my previous comments. My good mentorship and friends and old timers that wouldn't let me use trend or I was taught tightrading up and also getting the most out of the least amount. And say you get the most out of what you can out of 250 sustanon like I did. Now I wasn't jumping it up to like 500 600 I jumped it up to 400 and then to 600. Incrementally. Some guys within the first year their dosages are 2 g injectable 500 oral throughout the week. 2.5 g and they're only other first year and they're using trend and everything. Also a new thing nowadays that these youngsters are doing. Not only because everything's underground lab they're going to up the dosage because it's under dosed right but say they do their first cycle of 500 test 500 deca. They do a PCT but they jump back on at the same dosage and then these kids nowadays will bump up the dosages if they don't feel the side effects like oily skin or acne or stuff like that. Because they think it's underdosed and they have to feel those negative side effects. Also I try to help out as many people as I can. And it's a good thing when you see the light bulb go off. For example I've had a guy in his mid-20s talk s*** if he was on test and whatever he can look like me. Cuz I'm 41 with multiple surgeries blah blah blah anyway I was like it doesn't work that way. So he was natural for a while. And I told him all right well here I hooked him up with a bottle of test. 250. And I believe it was like a 10 week deal right sorry yeah 10 week deal started at 2:50 for the first couple weeks and then from there until the end 500. I knew his training wasn't that great. But you would think first cycle he should get pretty decent games cuz he was 175 lb. He should have been close to 195. Nope he only weighed 183 and he was telling everybody it was fake and this is the problem people have they don't know how steroids work I'm like okay you can take as much as you want. Every week. But you have to work out and cause damage hypertrophy to the muscles and then you got to fuel with glycogen calories protein to recover and repair. So you have to eat. so you can take all the stuff you want if you only eat once a day twice a day and it's s***** food you're not going to get much bigger. Because every compound whether it's a test deca anavar. They all work the same pathway. Protein synthesis nutrition partitioning. Nothing more nothing less they make you recover they don't make you have bigger muscles they recover or repair your muscles that are damaged but they do not produce new muscle. That would be like growth hormone but or so I had him eat what I planned out for him and within four weeks I think he gained like 8 pounds 9 lb. And I was like see it's not the gear that was fake. Or you have guys that they train but they can't keep their ego out of it and they only do maybe three or four reps because well for whatever reason. not even causing damage to the muscle really so they're only going to get so big so again you can take as much test you want not really going to grow because again hormones make you recover at a more efficient higher faster rate so exactly what are you recovering and repairing if you're not working out hard enough to cause muscle hyper hypertrophy.

My lady is my manager at my super small business, 3 employee jujitsu gym. I'm the owner and head coach but she's the one who 80% of the time tells ppl what to do when it comes to the employees. So true about being pretty much who you surround yourself with. The shark dolphin thkng. I once thought there are sharks and dolphins as Hany put it. Until I met some unbelievable grey area type of ppl. You'd think these ppl wouldn't be quite as good at shark stuff as pure sharks or as good at dolphin stuff as pure dolphins. After taking certain classes, being around certain circles id say 60% of ppl men and women are dolphins. 30%-35% are sharks. However, somewhere in the 3-10% range are what I've termed Unicorns. They have all best traits of both the shark and dolphin. These ppl baffle me, and impress me. Ive personally met maybe 6 of these ppl in 42 yrs. My lady is a Unicorn. As.a result, she always, ALWAYS rises to the top of whatever and wherever she's doing. Could b fast food cashier to a year later being district manger of 4 or 5 of the fast food places. Could be real estate and she never even bought or sold a house in her life and a few yrs later being the top selling agent in the state and a couple of other professions she just dominates and then moved to something else to dominate. Or if its lucrative enough keep it around in a manner where its passive income. These ppl know when to push hard, talk hard., work hard, self evaluate, are extremely humble and also have incredibly strong egos but only when its beneficial to have said ego. They walk in rooms and everyone likes them. They can order u around all day while also having u walk away thinking you've been lifted up and held in high esteem and u just WANT to do what they say for them and for you cuz of how they treated u. While also being able to fire someone in a heartbeat in business if necessary or dismiss someone in their personal life if they are toxic b4 they affect them and still having the dismissed not upset at them but upset at themselves for letting the Unicorn down. Like I said these ppl are.very rare. I've met 5-6 like this but they do exist. Why the hell my lady is with me, being the Unicorn.... lol who knows!!! Maybe that's her non Unicorn deficiency lol . Me.

A nice high five with a bro hug to you and your family for making this move. It is for the best interest of your family and your business. unfortunately there's a lot of people that can't get out of California because they live paycheck to paycheck or they depend on these government handouts to even feed their family so they can't leave. And if they do now California wants to tax people 3 years after they leave the state because they say the only reason people left California is to not pay their fair share in taxes basically. I just don't know wow anyway good for you man

I'm glad I was naive. From 18 until 22 23 I believe. Join the Army first few years was the Infantry and then went to second ranger battalion for 10 years. I was that guy spending all of his money at GNC on all these supplements because I just didn't know any better. I've always lifted ever since I started wrestling I believe I was 12. I started taking it serious and learning how to eat and lift reading muscular development. I started out at 16 5 168. I've always been around 15% body fat. But training for those three or four years naturally I got up to 190 with abs. And I couldn't get any higher than that for that last year when I was 22 or 23. And I still naive at that point. And then like I said upon getting to battalion. I'd be friends with a guy. he was shorter than me but he was jacked almost like what I was seeing in the magazine. So obviously I was picking his brain. we are working out together for about three or four months and I was watching his body transform. So I finally pulled him aside I'm like dude what the f*** is going on. And I still remember he was hesitant to say anything but I was like man I'm done I'm like maybe I'm just not built for this. and he's like all right well after this session we'll go to my house. He was married on post LOL I went to his house and he opened up his medicine cabinet. And there was like tests deca and whatever else LOL and he's like you know what these are and I was like yeah but for whatever reason I was naive. I thought just like professional athletes right. And he's like he didn't even finish the question he goes do you and I was like yes but even before he let me. He ended up mentoring me through pretty much years of it. Well until I caught on myself. But before I could do a injection of just sustanon. I had to do a paper of what each compound or hormone where it originated when it originated what it was for what are the positives what are the negative side effects. I believe if I can remember I was doing two or three hormones a week and it still took me something like 6 weeks or 8 weeks before he let me do my first injection of just test or a sust 250. And through the years. I just mainly used tests throughout ranger battalion and I may be a completed three cycles of test ranging from 500 to 750. Within those 10 years. Sometimes I would be on for maybe four weeks and then I would be off for 6 months. never did a post psychotherapy so there's a lot of weight fluctuation but I eventually made it by my 6th year up to 245 lb. But he taught me the importance of the training and eating. And without both of those having equal importance of each other and also valuable lesson. You can take all the hormones you want all the test you want but if you're only eating once a day you're not going to grow because a lot of people fail to realize how steroids work So besides my original mentor and I thank him for what he made me do. And he guided me as well but I had also other old timers throughout my time there. I'd heard about trim but I never touched it because they told me there's no reason to touch it unless you're a strong man or competing in bodybuilding which I did neither because between field problems and field time and deployments. Plus being a non-commissioned officer after 2 years and range of italian. Your time is occupied. Back in those days though we didn't hear about blood pressure damaging the kidneys. And if never did a post psychotherapy. Eight junk food pretty much 5 days a week. Although in the big scheme of things I didn't do that much. However if you know anything about the rangers. You work hard and you party hard. So lots of hard drinking pretty much for 5 days a week LOL basically treating our bodies like a roller coaster and then going to certain schools like Ranger school or getting deployed and getting dehydrated. But through all that partying and then with the alcohol anddoing some party drugs here and there when we would come back on mid tour from Iraq or Afghanistan because we are going to go back and we didn't know if we were going to get shot in the face so why not. But five deployments and all that stuff. Your body is resilient in your twenties. I'm just glad I had good people around me guide me.

This was really good - whenever we’ve talked, in person or other channels, never taken you the wrong way ever. Yes you have told me off on occasions however deservedly so. Need more unfiltered Hany on here, especially when you just ‘dumped’ me in CA 🤣🤣🤣 It is not just the drugs issue in the industry, there are many others. I don’t know if you want to address the women’s aspect of the industry- nothing gets said about that and surprised there was not a massive “Me Too” moment. I know stories and one you mentioned to me - is the Industry too F’d up in numerous areas? Probably. Haters are going to hate and certain individuals will pick on you whether they are using false stories - I remembered when you and Seth stopped working together however people were 💩 on you re his position in shows, etc. *cough* Issac 😂 There needs to be more honesty vs. the bs. I took S250 twice before I moved here and I was always ill after - SARMS a couple of times then thought WTF, got a kid and I don’t know what’s truly in there, could be rat poison. I’ll keep to my Evogen 😆

Also more on blood work and lab results. What are red flags on blood work? Most doctors work with the majority of the population that does not train and will give you red flags on certain things that working out will raise your levels.

50:30: "Learning the basics" and "building a foundation". There are many competitors, male and female, some of whom have been only training for less than a year or two and cannot possibly have this knowledge and built a natural foundation, entering non tested competitions relying on their trainers and yes, are already using PEDs with the full support of these trainers. This is unfortunately the reality and it is not going to change because the trainers are not going to put their feet down. The cycle also perpetuates itself because especially in the women's arena, some of these "less than one, two or three years from first stepping in gym" people are getting their pro cards, which others see on social media and equate this with success.

I'm 25. In my second show prep. But I WISH all the information from pros and top coaches like you were available back as a teen. Nobody would explain anything to me. And even my father wouldn't talk to me about it and explain the why nots, just a straight no. So at 18 I hopped on shit thinking it was the answer, and learned everything the hard way, abused things, experimented. It took until 20 to realize the diet was key, and got that sorted. But then dropped the diets and partied for a good year or two heartbroken and distracted and drowning myself whilst combining it with gear. Bad bad bad. 24 I did my first show and finally disciplined everything to a T consistently. And backed off everything with the best results ever, and I'm hoping now I didn't do to much damage early on and can mitigate and be smart for my future. I learned everything the hard way and all these teens now come to me wanting to hop right on tren after a week in the gym. And it's like good God kid, please listen to these guys first before you do anything and WAIT until everything else is perfected! I'd rather be open and save them from what I had to go through than have them thinking it's the answer. It's NOT.

A friend and I are setting up a pig shooting weekend coming up. You’re more than welcome to join. Both of us are Marines and have went a few times. During the day out of a chopper and at night with night vision goggles and on foot. Seriously let me know. It’s in Killeen Texas, just north of Austin. We are all industry guys as well. I like how you're speaking about prices for houses. I live in Pennsylvania and Central pennsylvania. A lot of people because Governor wolf he's Democrat they think Democrat but the only reason that happens is because of more so like Pittsburgh Harrisburg philadelphia. The popular vote right but everything in between is Republican conservative central. I had a house in Orlando Florida that I paid I think it was close to 300,000 and it was just a standard ranch style cinder block stucco kind of house nothing special. I come back up here to Pennsylvania where I'm from I get a old kind of Victorian house redone contemporary blah blah blah I do a lot of the work myself but it was still a good move for anybody you know what I mean like the house wasn't beat up. It's on 5 acres a finished attic half finished bathroom. Four bedroom two bath 1600 ft you know what I got it for? 115,000

Hany- sick of the pharmaceutical roulette that is modern bodybuilding. Not a single bloated gut, block physique on stage today inspires. Appreciate honesty. Bodybuilding is reverting back to its origins as some seedy sideshow because of the drugs. And for what? Hollywood now juices for super hero films. You ain't gonna be the next Arnold.
