To each their own. I will say, I think her WHOLE persona is an act. For years any public appearance she had she was put together it was all calculated. I don't think that's weird. I thought it was well known that celebrities have public-facing personas and their personal life personas. honestly is because of wicked. She's using a very similar placement as the one Kristin Chenoweth uses when talking. And as she herself said she's trained her voice tor interpret Glinda in the most accurate way, and since she's doing this for over a year now is normal. An yea, it's also because she's trying to preserve her voice since she's doing a lot of speaking in that program and probable has something else in her schedule. The placement she uses for Glinda is actually way healthier since it uses a lot of twang, which generates more resonance without using too much of the vocals chords. I myself as a singer tend to correct my placement in the middle of sentences when I realize I'm generating damage to my voice when talking or laughing.
