Wow. The Mazda CX-90 is a great family SUV. I have one question about the start-stop feature (the i-stop). When we let off the gas pedal and the engine shuts off, I think it only works in ECO mode and it is the same for the Mercedes brands. I think I am right about this one. Also, does every car have that feature where we let off the gas and the engine shuts off, and when we press the brake pedal or the gas pedal the engine fires up? I was really surprised by this feature😮.

It works in all modes, there’s no eco mode there’s a button for the I stop on left side of steering wheel column. Most cars have start stop due to emissions regulations

Great video, it's nice seeing the gauges and how the rpms are while driving. I love the look of the cx-90. I grabbed an 11 grand cherokee V8 last year, after my car got hit and written off, it's not bad for gas mileage, 19-21mpg highway, (10.8-12.5L/100km) For me I want an engine that has passing power, while not having to rev beyond 4k for the power. I like these bigger SUVs because I can sleep in them when camping and I like being the driver on road trips so I can take everyone.

Thanks! I agree you need that extra grunt that some smaller engines can’t match on the highway, only in town

Missing adaptive suspension for the price. I see news that it’s harsh.

Yeah but it works pretty well. Little jerky on handing off at low speeds from motor to gas engine but thats independent from stop start. This car doesn’t have a torque converter
