True, I actually didn’t notice that until much later! It’s interesting that it’s like his shadow. He also was sitting on top of the promo picture for the tonight show performance and was the only creature that wasn’t blacked out

the choker video lines up with the jumpsuit video, primarily the part where he runs away, and the downward shot of tyler afterward. "nobody's coming for me.." the whole livestream concert reminded me of nico and the niners: "force a sponsor start a concert complete diversion start a mob and you can be quite certain we'll win but not everyone will get out" = the alarms, the dragon? or a perimeter escape? tyler left behind? trash the dragon's flames are yellow. key to getting out? edit: btw when i said the jumpsuit video thing i meant to mention the part in choker when hes getting dragged relates to the levitate music video too imo.

Notice how Sacarver asked if Tyler can play Stressed Out while he was sitting with them, once Choker is finished it seems the outro is interrupted by "the bishops" (i used quotations due to the fact that the bishops already are trying to hide their true identity so they used dancers disguised as bishops to fit the song). This also shows that Tyler isn't in control of the show and that he's under dema's control

Absolutely! That is, in my opinion, the best song on the entire album

Ok so if my daughter's theory is right, each song represents a separate bishop, but 2 songs were not played, and two of the bishops were the host, that could work, but I think sometimes to stay alive you gotta kill your mind....

I have my own theory. Tyler is WRONG I personally think when tyler says “no one is coming for me” he is actually wrong. I think the reason why No chances and Formidable wasnt played was because they were trying to keep Tyler from knowing the truth in order to get his anxiety and depression back. The reason i think this is because in the song No Chances they say “We come for you” in a loud and almost chant-like way, like the banditos(?) are coming for him but they dont want to leave anything up to chance, “No Chances”. I haven’t heard formidable so im just going off the title for that. I think the banditos(?) are planning to break him out but its taking a while because “no chances”. They want to make sure they do it right I think the next album will show the story of how they get him out Idk this might just be me craving a good ending since I’ve had a depressing lack of them both irl and in media i read and watch

It deeply saddens me that I wasnt able to watch the live stream

OMG I am Polish and when this live was on I was watching it at 3 a. m. And when I saw their eyes on 3:59 I thought it is one of the most creepy things I have seen since last couple of months (sorry for the mistakes if there are but I am from Poland)

Ok 1. I have ADHD. 2. Um WOW. 3. I never would’ve noticed all of the HINTS! 4. I do know that scaled and icy is an album where Tyler takes us in his mind as that is what he stated in the interview. As for the choker vid, I do recall him saying “I need to move right now cuz” and him look at the drama mug. I also know the song good day is very contradictory as that song is not about having a good day, it’s having a BAD DAY but psyching yourself out to manage the pain better. I do know “No Chances” is the only dark vibed song on the album but it comes right before redecorate. And the rest..I’m going to have to go back to blurry face and figure out, put al the pieces together then I’ll come back to this video lol

So here’s the thing, there won’t be more livestreams, but there will be more live shows soon. Sorry if that sounded like I said livestreams lol. When the live shows come back, the story of DEMA will surely progress. Also, if they did end up doing more livestreams, you could definitely still watch them even if you didn’t see this one!

Honestly this could be an entirely separate video lol. I’m hoping we will get more clues and hints to the loose ends of this story, such as the following: Where is Ned? Why does Tyler act like he can’t see Josh? What happened to Clancy? These questions can be answered and will be answered at some point. Hopefully a music video will come out and we can get pointed in a direction for one or even all of these questions.

I think the idea of what DEMA exists as is dictated by Tyler’s current state of mind/it changes every so often Or I could be wrong and this 80s talk show style is just the next level of existence up from the minimalistic architecture and trenches of the last album Or it’s all a facade and in this case the facade will most likely be dropped and the rebellion against the bishops will continue
