Irina was rich, powerful and independent. Cristiano needed somebody who he can controls. Georgina was poor, young, with not to much education, perfect for staying at home and raising children. Exactly. It was SO OBVIOUS that it's one sided or just a fun time for Irina and then she got bored, already got herself to the top of fame she would never have imagined with his name and was pushing for the break-up. Proof is that she wasn't affected at all and spoke ill of him in the press while he didn't make any negative comments about her but stated that he struggled to move on. Cristiano seemed like he wasn't himself at all with Irina and was trying to please her, even his attitude was different at the time, the way he dressed etc.. He sacrificed a part of his personality hoping to satisfy her but she demanded more to get total control to the point of wanting him to get away from his family and that's where he drew the line. Cristiano may seem across as an arrogant person in the media but he actually has a very sentimental personality and does most of things by heart, that is why he was affected deeply by the break-up and I remember the 2015 he dropped in form, looked so stressed and upset most of the time in the field and outside, of course what made things worse is that fans didn't understand and weren't supportive, when he struggled to score they booed and insulted him. I remember one of those 2015 matches he was reduced to tears towards the end because he was trying so hard and couldn't score + fans were booing the whole time. Taking antidepressants makes your mood swings like a rollercoaster, like he entertains people they should also keep in mind that he's a human and it doesn't matter if he's a billionaire or the guy next door. When you reach the point of taking antidepressants, it means that you can just give up on everything.
