I wonder why the quality of your research content keeps dropping over time. Your vids aren't as interesting as they used to be. And FYI there's no such thing as VPN without logs (logs are needed by default but sure they can be deleted). I'm sure NordVPN will cooperate with law enforcement once asked, as they all do. Lastly what's sketchier is their Windows Setup Client cant even pass Virus Total. So be sure to use OpenVPN client.

My reading teacher has thought me this many times. They store and sell your data. How else would they make BILLIONS of dollars? And don’t think that this is illegal, because you agreed to it in their terms of service (but let’s be honest who the heck reads the terms of service, but if you DO choose to read it, it will say that “We will track websites you visit”). And ever wonder why they want you to be 13+? Google, Facebook, Snapchat, etc? It’s because that’s the legal age someone can track your information. If you are 12 and want to make a google account, they WANT you to lie about your age. They WANT you to say you’re over 13, they WANT track your information when your actually 12. And they WANT to track you. You can block ad tracking in your settings, but it will slow down your device, as a punishment. You can ad a tracker blocker, but it will keep notifying you every 2 minutes, “Are you sure?” “Are you sure?” “Are you sure?”, as another punishment. It listens to your conversations, it tracks your geographical location, and it tracks what websites you visit. Be cautious

I had a facebook account for about half an hour back in the early months of 2014 at the request of a friend. He wanted to be able to connect our Bloons Tower Defense games together so we could do multiplayer and was too busy bitching about not knowing how to log into Game Center on iOS to give me a chance to explain why it was easier. To make it go along faster I just made one and then deleted it later, but I really regret not telling him to log into his account on GC because now I can't say that I've never used Facebook.

A few years ago I came home and told my wife my I had a problem with me knee. The next day I started getting ads for knee braces. I had not searched for treatments for knee problems. Never before had I received an ad for a knee brace. I suspect Alexa was listening. This was too creepy for me so I disconnected Alexa.

He needs clickbait help...2.5M subs with pretty low view count relatively speaking. His videos are all top notch though, and he uses stock footage very tastefully. He likes boob pics...so do I. I have gotten the Katy Perry/Miley vid in my feed for months...just today realized it was him.

well im pretty sure he has a team of researchers, writers, video editors, ad salesmen, thumbnail/ clickbait artists etc etc. this channel brings in a LOT of revenue. it has patreon *people that give away their money monthly, youtube ads, and sponsored videos. thats making some serious bank. he is just the guy on camera that reads the script. but yeah. its a great channel. not to say he isnt smart. for all we know he could be a genius, or an idiot. who knows?

Talking with a neighbor, he recommended a single-owner family hardware business. We took out our iPhone from a pocket, put in the first letter and the business popped up. It was creepy.

They do track you. 9gag ToS asks you to approve access to your sensors, microphone, camera(I think), gyros, GPS and such. Their partners are ad companies. facebook definitely listens in.

They 100 percent listening to conversations. Me and the misses were talking about Spotify over the phone. She specifically mentioned a 3 month free trial. We finished the conversation and I went onto Instagram and boom, there was a Spotify ad offering a 3 month free trial. I didn't Google search it or anything. Literally just spoke about over the phone. I then deleted all my social media.

agreed. they dont need supercomputers. phones are very powerful these days. and its not like most people utilize that power. the software could just do all the calculations on your phone. im not saying it is being done, but im not ruling it out either. hes not wrong though, the amount of data they get via other means suggests they just dont need to bother with tracking your microphone etc. although they have been caught with it before, employees listening to saved microphone recordings for entertainment while at work.

Actually facebook doesn't necessarily need to record your voice. There's a particular technique used also by some samsung smart tv. It consists on a speach recogniser that runs in background. When a certain word is detected, the program can send a paket to a remote server that cathalogs it and returns a particular tag. That tag is used to trigger a particular ad unit. For example: you talk about your friend and at a certain point you say the word: "want to + sunglasses + where + best + price". And voila ads on the nearby store where you can find beautyful sunglasses. The creepy fact is that the hardware power needed to trigger this mechanism is almost null.

Your videos are masterpieces, they really are, obviously a lot of care has been put into each of them and they are so very informative and thoughtful. But I must say, the extent to which your thumbnails have become click bate is ridiculous, it's come to the point where the jarring red makes me look away from the link and the photos of busty scantily clad women does not serve the point of a video about how social media causes depression or why modern music sucks. They are less eye-catching too, because they're not even aesthetically pleasing. Again, I really do love your videos and appreciate that you make them, you are better than this. This isn't an attempt at bashing you, It's just something I've noticed and I'm curious as to wether anyone else agrees with me.

My bestfriend and I were at a friends house, had dinner and he used his air fryer. Both of us standing in the kitchen talked about how much we loved it and wanted one of our own. The next day Facebook started showing me ads for Air Fryers and the day after that Facebook started showing the same ads to my friend. Neither of us ever looked up air fryers or posted about air fryers, Facebook just started showing the ads. I can't even calculate the odds of that happening without them listening to our conversations. I am keeping Facebook but I uninstalled the app earlier today.

I stopped using Facebook about 9 plus years ago because not only do they see what stuff you’ve looked up, but they get into your hard drive. I used my laptop to watch dvds. And once I watched Batman the dark knight (it was my own dvd wasn’t watching Netflix or any site, WASN’T even on the INTERNET). The next day when I went on Facebook there was all this advertising for Batman stuff. I ended my Facebook account that week. But they wouldn’t let me completely delete my account. They made me deleted all my friends and clubs etc, but will not let me delete the account, just makes it inactive. It creeped me out. Love your content and videos, btw.

I was once humming a song in my head while walking home. Then I went to KZread and the first video I saw recommended to me was that video for that song. It was an old song that I hadn't heard for 20 years. Maybe it was just coincidence, but could KZread be somehow reading my mind with my phone in my pocket?

Not only has it been impossible too protect your personal data. It's equally impossible too delete certain apps. What the hell do they need access to all our private data. What's equally disturbing, why do we give then the access 🤔

And what about Google? Please don't track me Google God!

I watched a programme on TV about Glasgow Central Station, because a friend of mine was on it, & I was taking about it during the half hour show, saying about my mate being on TV & talking about the trains that used to be there.. This morning, I was offered train videos about Scotland, when I've absolutely no interest in trains, & have never asked KZread about them either.. It was only on to see my friend!! 😂 😂 Coincidence?? 🤔 I think not?! 🙄 I'm just going to repeat the mantra, coffee & weed!! 😂 If Amsterdam cafe holidays are recommended, then I'll know for sure!! 😂 😂
