It’s completely valid to say the parrying is a lil weird the moves in this game have a slower startup and an almost instantaneous swing which makes it hard to parry but ontop of that the window in this game seems smaller than the windows in some souls games which is crazy for a game with most casual fighting players

i stopped playing type soul 1 day after it came out again because the first day, right at 20 mask cracks a quincy killed me twice for absolutely no reason sayin "tough world", then the next day an arrancar pulled up on me at 25 mask cracks trying to kill the boss and killed me, makin me go all the way back to a menos. this community is as bad as deepwoken, only the deaths in this game actually make you lose 90% of your progression and i hate it

As someone who played since original release and maxed out all the factions ill tell you the truth about Quincies. Quincies were originally the most respectful race but becuase of they were the most bullied faction of the 3 and were constantly getting jumped so one day after about a month of this they had enough and called fourth to jump everyone they see now and i saw the entire thing in the chat becuase i was originally a Quincy myself. Though im not gonna lie after that the Quincy community was split into 2. 1st you had some of the nicest people ever and 2nd you had people worse than the real grman sldiers you know which ones im talking about lol. For anyone who got jumped by Quincies at the start that was probably just a random toxic group you could find in any faction not just in the Quincies. Now i think Quincies are pretty chill and if i had to be honest the entire time i played Type Soul i recognized Soul Reapers as the most aggressive and toxic people with the most amount of jumpings. But hey thats my experience so tell me what you think. Also out of the 3 factions Arrancars were buffed the most with the least amount of nerfs, Quincies were nerfed the most with the least amount of buffs if any at all and Soul Reapers were pretty balanced when it comes to nerfs and buffs (not talking about how strong these are ingame just talking about the nerf/buff amount). Also Arrancars getting Segunda is just the most broken thing ive ever seen in my life. Partial Res is supposed to be Shikai while Res is supposed to be Bankai so what is Segunda supposed to be Double Bankai? And no it does not equal to Vizard and Letz becuase Vasto equals to that. Dont even try to defend it both me and you know its op and if it wasnt you wouldnt be getting it now would you?

this happens to me in deep bru its mad annoying

parrying is completely rng, combat relies on your moveset instead of your actual skill, nothing more to say as a special grade quigga i lost 9/10 of matches, as an elite grade soul rigger with berserker/lightning shikai and eviscerate, i won 8/10 of matches, and i forced all the masters to pop vizard on me everytime despite not actually having vizard/bankai if i had used The Visionary on my quigger build, i wouldve won 19/20 matches, since its completely braindead and has autoaim and aoe moves that movestack into your regular kit with ease 😄

I wouldn't say COMPLETELY rng I genuinely learned the parry timing for some moves for example the two part kendo move that lets you use a finisher if you land the second hit the finisher is extremely easy to learn how to parry.

Get rid of the 10 min cd to get fucking shikai, I've died to this guy more than my mom has ever told me that she love me and the fact that the only way to defeat the boss is to spam R and dash away, its way harder than getting shikai in peroxide........ and I've heard getting bankai is a whole nother story 💀

Yeah parrying is delayed a lot and i really hate it

i wont cause yk its all personal preference but combat wise type soul takes the cake its fun to learn and mess around w but i DESPISE peroxide pvp 😭 and ngl ive never played reaper 2
