The truth about second company programs. Hey guys! In todays video I share the truth about second company programs as a ballet dancer. Being in a second company program is probably the hardest part of your professional career. You are no longer a student, but youre not quite a professional. That middle ground between the two can be EXTREMELY frustrating. While there are some negatives to second company programs, the positives 100% outweigh the negatives. Second company programs are such a valuable time your dance career. You are able to learn what it is like to actually be a professional ballet dancer, while still being in that safe second company program space.
I am so grateful for my time when I was in a second company program many many years ago and I hope by sharing my experience, it will help you guys through your time in your second company program!!!

I appreciate all of your videos they are very informational. Is it possible for you to make a video about being in a program or company where you are getting complimented all the time about your dancing but are being overlooked for casting and the same people get picked for leads. Did you ever go through that?
