The truth about removing bees and their behaviour

We often see social media videos of honeybee removals and they always seem to go incredibly well and have that feel good factor.
The Bees behaviour is exemplary and the queen is always found, this video will hopefully show you what we find when we do them.

    Didn't notice any bands? Do you not save their comb? WROTE THAT WHILST WATCHING THE VIDEO, HALF WAY THROUGH YOU ANSWERED MY QUESTIONS WITH THE DISEASE REFRENCE. Fantastic, keep up the grand works. (Bee Quick works for us for moving them on).

    As a note, we band it with electricians' tape rather than rubber bands, I find they chew through them, or they rot too quickly, making inspections difficult later. With tape, we just unravel it when the comb is ready.
