Oh wow. I’ve recently started using these and thought they do draw out pus! 😬 Does work really well though to prevent bad scarring from trying to squeeze them usually. Love it! On another note, what do you suggest for those random painful pus filled pimples that don’t open? How do we drain them out?

Hi hun, if the pimple is really close to the surface then sometimes it may take some of the puss out but most of the time its just oil.. My recommendation is to keep using the patches as they help at the margins and allow the skin to clear on its own.. love xx

Buy the more sticky pimple patches. When the pimple is ready it pulls out the gunk AND a little bit of skin on top. All you have to do is softly press on the area to finish the job, clean everything up and put another patch on, after weakening the glue.

I love patches. I have so much less scarring now from breakouts. Life changing.

I wish these patches were around when I was growing up.

Recommend not popping a pimple then adding the patch. Always best to just not pop and let the patch do it’s job. They really work at drawing the pus out. They do suck pus out. Yes, it’s a reaction also but they do draw pus out. I wish I had some now.

It's weird to see people put those on top of pimples. I used to pop it, disinfect it, and then put it on. Keep them until the skin closes basically.

I love using pimple patches on my nose to get rid of that “strawberry seeds” appearance, and the pores on my nose eventually became smaller when I use them overnight 1-2 times a week. Salicylic Acid patches are great, but HanHoo also makes them with aloe and tea tree oil which I love to use to help the healing process. Always keep the area disinfected before putting on a patch. I dab a cotton swab soaked in rubbing alcohol on the area, then immediately remove it with the dry side of the swab, then patch it. Castor oil also helps reduce inflammation without clogging pores, I add a drop to my acne wash every morning and it was a game changer for me!

People think pimple patches are some miraculous fix, when all they do is protect the area and let it heal in a moist environment.

Good for her she doesn't let that heavy acne stop her from trying to look her best and living life.

I second what you said. It does shorten the life of an active pimple which lessens your desire to pick them. I recommend them

I thought they were amazing for my 7th grader. They must pull out the excess oil that would normally keep the zit around longer. The best part for me is that they keep the zit clean .

I use them especially on flights or during a very hot night. My skin just goes crazy in these circumstances so they act like some sort of protection

Hi I’m 11 yd and just starting to get acne☹️and have some kind of red dots on my face and bumps😬do you have any advice? Love piper ❤

If you want to get rid of pimples fast was your face with dawn dish soap and baking soda. 2-3 times a day and by day 2 see a big difference. My neighbor had big purple acne I kept telling the mother what to do but she took her son to dermatologist pills and creams and nothing. He was at my house and seen my son wash his face and tried it. That night he was back at our house washing his face. The next morning his mom said she was glad to see his medicine was working. He informed her he hadn’t used it. He told her about the baking soda and dawn dish soap. She called me that day to thank me. He then asked about his back and chest. He was then taking showers at my house. I fixed a bottle for him to take home so his brother could use it also.

I wanna ask something, I noticed that when my pimples were very inflamed like this the infection became noticeably less with iodine, like clean the area apply some iodine and let it air-dry and it heals significantly by the end of the day. Did anyone do this do you think it's generally helpful or is it a strike of luck?

Some people are losing their mind fr fr they are running there skin on purpose sometimes

I don’t get that yellow stuff. Maybe mine are different. Mine actually lifts the white liquid from under my skin.

they just help you to not touch the pimples and pop them :)

Mine has so much puss on it after i remove the patch. And it still not ok. I put at least 3-4 patches to keep removing the puss and now finally getting dry

It’s crazy how they don’t actually work like we think they do but they do actually work so who even cares 😂. Lol when I put them on the blemish size goes down in volume, so i assume they do absorb oil etc.

She isn't wearing makeup 🙃 She has lash extensions on but no makeup. And besides, makeup doesn't cause acne. Unwashed makeup sponges and brushes do, but most people who wear makeup keep theirs clean

Makeup, especially heavy metal or oil based makeups, will clog pores and most of the products that women are using have thousands of chemicals in them that aren't good for the skin. These chemicals exacerbate acne issues. They will also cause skin texture issues and result in an aged appearance. Even if the makeup being used is not oil based, it still acts as a barrier and increases oil production in your skin. It's a vicious cycle. Makeup causes skin issues and women will use more makeup to cover the skin issues resulting in more skin issues.

INSTEAD OF JUST PUTTING PIMPLE PATCHES, SHE SHOULD MAKE A SKINCARE ROUTINE!!! She has a lot of acne to be treated! Instead of putting pimple patches, I should recommend seeing a dermatologist and a skincare routine. I recommend products like aveeno, bubble, and Cetaphil! It’s fine if you put pimple patches, you also need a skin care routine too
