I have a wonderful Friendship like this We met in the YEAR 1971 and we are still best friends She was moving away and the Home that she was living in She told her husband to let me buy it from them and I got a 4bedroom home for $15000.00 .that I would not have been able to buy a house if she had not help me and we are still Best FRIENDS Now I LOVE her and She LOVE

Whether they are an item or not I don't care but it's very rare to have a friendship lasting this long these days. Loyalty and authenticity are rare gems. My best friend and I have been inseparable for over 20 years and I am grateful we crossed paths in this lifetime.

I think the friendship is beautiful. Considering the fact Oprah's background of her childhood, it's always good to have a good friend like that. My best friend and I have been friends since the day I was adopted at 11 years old, I met her on the playground we are in our forties now and she is the best thing that ever happened to my life and I always tell her you saved my life. I get tired of people trying to plant this negative seed over their friendship as if they are lovers some wished they had a friend like this here. Best friends are hard too come by. So if you end up with just one good friend. You are turely BLESS.

It's so nice to see two black women that support each other, this woman have worked very hard to be where they are, God bless 🙏 them both 🙏

I'm fortunate enough to have 3 good friends like this. One I have known since birth pretty much (we are 23 days apart) and that has lasted many decades. We moved away from each other for several years due to college but stayed in touch by phone, email, pics, etc. We saw each other again at her father's funeral (which I wasn't about to miss) and it was like no time had passed. She's my sister. My second friend I met freshman year of college when we took a modern dance class together and we were the only two in the class who were non-dance majors and really bad at it. We laughed at each other all through the class and gave been best friends ever since. I was there when she lost both of her parents and was on the floor with her dog when she had to put him down and she couldn't do it. She came right away to me when first, our cat of 17 years died and then, 3 years later, my husband died. She's my sister also. My third friend and I met when our sons were 9 and playing basketball together. We were the only two mothers of color in the plac and were sitting near each other so we started talking. We discovered that we were both transplanted to the midwest from the east coast and how much we missed the vibe of the tri-state area (NY, NJ, and PA/Philly). We have been sisters ever since and she even keeps in touch with my mother because they clicked immediately and she no longer has hers. Our sons are now adults and college graduates but we are still going strong. Then, there are 3 diverse moms that I became friends with when our kids met in the 2-year old room at preschool. Our kids are all only children and we had them in our 30's (except one mom). When they had to separate to go to kindergarten, they were so heartbroken about leaving each other that the moms vowed to meet at least monthly so that they could play. They are still friends today as adults. Over the years, we would take pictures of them and the moms to chronicle our friendship together. We could make a commercial for that daycare chain because their friendship began at their facility. So, I get Oprah and Gayle's friendship because I have experienced it too.

I would love to have a friendship like this again my best friends pass away years ago and I never found another one like her she was a sister and I miss her so much

Is it possible for two women two BLACK WOMEN to be that close? YES!!! I'm still close with my bff from High School. She's the only person l can talk to on the phone for HOURS 8 hours to be exact and we're just friends nothing physical. When others can't be close to others like that l noticed they chip at and spread rumors about people in that close of a friendship. Now are Oprah and Gayle more than friends? I don't know. If they are should they come out? Are Black people willing to accept that type of relationship if it's true? I personally don't care if they are closer than friends and l think people envy there friendship. Friendship nowadays........... childe! That's all l gotta say 😳🙄😃

Sounds like just a friendship. Ive had pieces of these connections with different women, and none of our relationships were romantic. They found everything they needed in ONE person. That is rate, and a blessing

This is truly a beautiful friendship. What appears to others as bizarre, is norm to others. For years we heard those “rumors” and simply didn’t care whether or not it was true.

I learn something new everyday. I didn’t even know they were friends ,but these memes got me dying 😂

I also believe they're lovers. & I believe, Oprah had something to do with Gayle's divorce. 🤷🏾‍♀️... Although it's lovely to have someone like that in your life.
