Secrets aren't hard to keep. Compartmentalization works. 99.99% of people involved in secret projects have no idea what they are even working on. It's like a puzzle w/ 1000s of pieces. They will only ever see the shape of 1 piece. They never see any other piece. They have no clue how many pieces there are in total. They don't know where their piece fits. They don't even see the partial image that their piece contains. 1 shape. That's it. They CAN'T disclose secrets, because they have none. 0.01% even see the beginning of the assembly of the puzzle.

Extremely accurate. Manhattan Project is one of the many examples of this phenomenon.
@mayorpufnstuf4470
25 күн бұрын
@@AlenAbdula They really don't, w/ few exceptions. Large projects w/ physical design come from top down. Then the project is broken down, and delegated, into components. Compartmentalization is done per component/sub-component. All of those employees are given differing cover stories for the purpose of the components, if any. This also acts as an indicator to locate leaks. The 'leaky compartment' can be determined by the (dis)info leaked. Design and assembly is done by the smallest team possible. This is evident in every publicly available 'skunk works' type crew photo. There are a couple dozen people who see the finished product. But most compartmentalized projects are information based. And regardless of the direction of work or information flow, a small # of people see the finished project. Nearly everyone else is entirely in the dark. The exceptions in 'crossovers,' or less-compartmentalized staff, are only in necessary, high demand fields. For example, there just aren't enough Unix sysadmins to supply the intel community demand and fully compartmentalize them.

I occasionally smoke cigars and at first I thought it might be because he was using both index fingers going through papers or something, then I remembered that I just put it in my mouth in that case. I have held a cigar like that while I had a controller in my hand and I kept getting smoke in my eyes playing playstation.
Sh*tting on how he holds the cigar 😂
Oh man I love your vids so much man keep it up love it
Baker mixes lies with truth in a very skillful manner. But. Notice his silences and hesitations before he answers. Sometimes his answers are non-answers, sometimes he actually answers the question.

You should hold a cigar like Paul Sorvino in Goodfellas, and no other way
Holding a smoke between ring and middle is an old timey thing to do. I'm having trouble finding something on google in support, but I'm pretty sure I heard that ages ago

Sheldon Johnson had a REALLY light disguise
As a smoker for years and a occasional cigar smoke whose been alive for 40+ yrs I've never seen a single person hold a cigar or cigarette like that.
This this is a great video I’m glad you’re bringing stuff to light America is tired of our politicians and biased news sources
This may be your best video yet. I really appreciate the nuanced perspective, you're clearly an intelligent person. I only wish I could afford to join the Patreon. Maybe soon.
Arthritis will make you hold a cigar like that
It’s hilarious to me that channels like this exist. The professional podcast critic. What a life’s work.

there is an episode with Duncan where they discuss joining the CIA....
I'm a avid cigar smoker and i've never seen anyone as well hold a cigar like this, might be worst than holding it like a cigarette.

It's pretty uncommon. I hold it that way when im outside in the winter; keeps the heat nearer to my face. When im doing shit with both hands i'll clip it between the pinky and ring. Point being; it's unusual but not impossible - he looks like he doesn't know what he's doing.
I had a second cousin who was in Intelligence and it's hard for them to forget their training after they retire. For example, he'd call my house and wouldn't say who he is until you told him who you were. This was pre caller ID. It was so strange
in the style of Joe Pesci, "not this guy again.." 🙄 "alright, who ordered the vanilla fed on rye..?"
1:00 interesting take on cigar apropos 🤔
The best disguise is the cop with the Tom Segura disguise leading Sheldon to the squad car.
he successfully distracted you with the way he holds the cigar. They are also about re-direction. It also makes him stand-out which is also a tactic.
The cigar comment was so funny Ifell out laughing!!!

On the cigar comment.. Holding a smoke between your middle and ring finger is just to free your index finger. Ex. When you're reading a book and need to turn the page.. ..also, you're a super nerd having to Google ways to hold a cigar... Lol. Love the content!

You don't get to retire from the CIA. That's your job till you die
Is this the same Mike Baker that was mentioned in the twitter files? If so why hasn't Joe ever questioned him on it? Unless he has and I missed it. I might be wrong, addressed in the replies.
