That's how it should be, and hopefully, those good days aren't dependent on your son, wife, and granddaughter. Hopefully, you'll be having good days no matter who you're with or even if your close one's are no longer around.. Unfortunately, if you simply look around, most people do seem to be in the state he is describing.

As if what he said matters. It's a temporary 'excursion' of something bored with knowing all. There's not choice in what you want to be. What one is, is only the "x" years, then it's gone. I agree with J.K. on one thing. The mind, life is not mine.

No , Not necessarily true, I do know that in spirit there is a degree of oneness once you meditate alone or in deep silence , but the same spirit must exhibit as social service when we are in action, Yoga of the Hindus is the oneness that we talk about And Karma Yoga talks about being in that oneness in action.

Book of enoch is true. Fallen angels are and are our masters. We are both their dolls as well as their food pantry. Apart spirits, fallen angels are the nearly unique superior world we can have contacts with. They control us entirely and the destiny of humanity is a representation of their own world. What is above, so is below.

JK is saying that life as it is currently, has very little meaning for us. It has become a chore, monotonous, full of agony and sorrow. Sir, when there is love, the question of what is the meaning doesn't arise. There is meaning in simply being. For example, when you listen to music or you play your favourite game, do you ask what is the point of this? That question itself doesn't arise. In the very act of listening to music or playing, one finds great meaning. Sir, look at a plant with all your attention, with your every ounce of attention that you can gather. Then ask yourself the question, does the plant need to achieve anything in its life? or is there meaning in just being? The problem is that we are caught up in our own self centered activity and have separated ourselves from everything else. We dont see that every atom of this body has come from the earth. We cant stay alive for even 2 mins without oxygen from earth, yet, we say we are different. Why? Because since childhood everyone has told ("conditioned") us saying that we need to become somebody (meaning different from the rest), the bigger (more wealthy, powerful etc), the better. And so in our minds, we have an idea of what we are and what we should be. This what should be is in constant conflict with what is and so we suffer. Just keep listening to JK attentively if you are curious because just listening to him is enough.

That’s a good question! I think we have complicated what living truly is. The more I listen to the enlightened minds of the world the more I feel we are hear to simply help each other. Like truly help each other… move with love, breathe and die peacefully… that’s it. Society told us we have to accomplish more than that… but we truly don’t. Society says we need to acquire all these things… but you really don’t need ANYthing to help someone in some way.

Not necessarily… Im no guru and I can only speak from my own life’s truth’s. The more selfless I have been, the more joy I have experienced. So I learned we cannot control the fact that we have been put into a society, you will have to interact, will have to in someway choose a path of being served or of service… a contributor or a taker… your own joy will come from whatever side you genuinely choose.

So the purpose of life is merely the continuation of the past with all of its confltictive shenanigans through you as you spend all of your energy on something? To attach yourself to something? Wouldn't be wiser to have a deeper understanding as to why we want to attach ourselves in the first place and what we're running from.

In his entire lifetime lectures all he tried to convey is that 'Truth' cannot be said, cuz the moment it's said, it loses that trueness. And the audience was supposed to realise that through the various rearrangement of words he said that are not true. All his lectures are an attempt to point a finger at truth of life.

@@rightcliquegod7653”Meaning” and “purpose” are only subjective concepts created by tool-making primates that communicate through language. They naturally see the world as objects for them to name and describe and resources for them to use. So they imagine that there must be a great tool-using, language speaking being who created them (in his image, of course) and for which we have a “meaning” and a “purpose.” Right? What is the meaning of a dance or of sunlight or the purpose of a comet? Meaning to whom? Purpose for whom? The great hairless apes know which rocks are good for making spearheads and which plants and animals are good for food. Now they ask “what are our lives good for?” “What tools will the gods make from our hollow bones?” “What divinations from our entrails?”
