Yes, always give God His as the first fruits are very important!!! Then pay bills, invest, bless those that God has been giving to bless. If my hands are open to the Lord, He will fill them, if they are shut, He can't fill them, the same with the heart. He will multiply unto us as we all help others. As the word says, give and it shall be given, I believe God!!!

I absolutely love David Bromstead I watch the show every chance I get. Secretly my greatest joy would be to win a million $$$ and have David help us find a home...I’ll stay in faith 🙏🏽

The good news about this show is that it is positive. On this show, there are no riots and the American Dream comes true. Many of the clients have not owned a home before or have been living from paycheck to paycheck. It's nice to see people being rewarded. And David is terrific!

David Brumstad is the reason. He's Adorable!! He's funny, he's silly. He's an Amazingly Talented artist, in his own right, but, his smile and loving personality, are what make this show the hit it is.

I watch the show for David.

I am a fan! David is an incredible designer. I remember when I first saw him win HGTV's designer show. He is a gem they need to give him another design show.

David seems to be a truly decent, kind person. He is well informed and great at his job. He makes the show.❤️

he didn't find them, the realtor in that state found them.... he just showed them and gave design tips when needed

He's over the top in many ways , but his genuinely friendly Midwestern personality makes him a great host.

Love, love David. His personality is contagious, happy, upbeat and exciting. He makes the show.

I was surprised at some episodes where people were really cautious with their money, it makes the show real, excellent. Love the host too!

Yup, I have seen people win a million or two, then have a tiny amount set aside for a home, like a couple of hundred thousand or so! Of course the government takes what? 35% of all lottery wins? 🤔

David’s personality is an obvious reason for the shows success....a really nice guy....

I love the show and David makes the show. I love his fun attitude.

I’ve been watching David before he got really famous.He seems like a sweet sincere guy.I wish he would do more shows on Christmas decorating also.

When I first saw commercials for the show, I thought I would be watching people going overboard. Was surprised when I finally did watch a few episodes to see the winners being reasonable about the amount they spend. I believe that's due to David giving people advise when the camera's are not rolling. Now, it's become one of my favorite shows. Thanks David for being a true, helpful, humble guy to really listens to people and giving sound advise.

Not only are the winners reasonable, but hardly any of them come across as spoiled brats. Maybe it's because the homes chosen fit their wishes so well, but there's none of the "3000 sq. ft. is just way too small", or "that stove isn't stainless steel, I couldn't live with that" or "the colour's all wrong".

Amazing how David always knows what to say no matter how much the person has won and whether ther spend a little or a lot for a home. He’s very charismatic.

I would never in a million years appear on there if I won the lottery. I would go so dark, my husband wouldn’t be able to find me.

I remember him being in some design competitions years ago. It was fun to watch. Remember 'Trading Spaces' and the designer, 'Hildi'. She screwed up more rooms than I've ever seen. I wouldn't have accepted any of her work! Some of the people got SO mad with her!

linda handley I remember one where she hot glued straw all over a couple’s living room walls.....and just left it like that....no paint, didn’t cut it back...it was gross. I wonder if the show ever took care of the mess ups, or if you had to sign some sort of release form prior to be on the show.

David is adorable....if I won money - I would get him to help me find my dream home. He seems like a really nice person - kind and happy...the world need more of those kind of folks. LOVE YOU DAVID

Bromstad is super talented. He seems like a genuinely nice person too.

When I win the lottery I will definitely be calling David! I love that whether you have $50,000 or $500,000 to spend he treats you the same way.

I love David so much. He seems so sweet and genuine. I also love how people on the show seem to be really smart with their money. They win millions but usually get modest homes. It’s great. I always say I hope we win so we can meet David and he can help us find a house. 😂

This is actually a good concept. Most people don't know how to go about purchasing a home where there's no limit to their desires.

David is a charmer and I smile whenever I watch him. ❤️ I wonder about his love life but he seems to want that private and whoever it is, they are lucky.

David definitely appears to be a genuinely nice, down to earth guy. I just adore him. He treats all the clients with the utmost respect and kindness, no matter how much money they have, what their social status may be or their ethnicity. This man cheers me up - and in today's world that's no easy feat. Yes, he's adorable.

I watched reruns when i want to feel better.He makes me happy to watch.He makes the show.Way to go DAVID. LOVE YOU.

I love this show and I love David Bromstad. He seems genuine and stays true to who he is. I’ve watched his career grow with HGTV and watched the Design Star series when he first won. It’s been great to see his success and growth over the years. Glad to see a good person reap the rewards of prosperity. Wishing David continuous success going forward.

One thing that they never mention is how much of the winnings goes to taxes. The taxes are pretty high.

What is not mentiones is that the story is staged, often the winners already bought a house and the show makes it appear that they choose it on the show

I know it's not the lottery, bu don't the casinos deduct taxes before they cut you a check?

One thing that bugs me when I watch these shows is when people touring a house throw themselves on furniture. Getting on someone else's bed with shoes on and bouncing around is so disrespectful in my humble opinion. Just a pet peeve of mine.

This is a great program! I like it because he looks for homes they prefer in their price range that they feel comfortable in! And no pressure on them! I agree he needs to stay in designing homes ,too!

David is a Character! The home buyers seem to love him. Relationships seem real.

I love this show! David is such a sweetheart. He's so funny, too.

Love him, but I prefer watching him on design shows. He is too talented for this show

My x-husband won the New York lottery . I believe it was four years ago . He built a castle etc and just passed away this past November --- so very sad !

1 of my favorite shows, Dave is hilarious and has a great personality. Wish I could win a lottery so I could get on the show and find a great house without all the stress.

Thank god, I thought this as going to be some expose piece but it's just nice and wholesome

I don't like most reality shows, and it took my sister awhile to convince me to watch this one. I can truly say I like the show and David can help me find a home any day- as soon as I win the lottery that is!

I miss the original Design Star show. It was one of my favorites - I planned my schedule so I could watch every week. Wish HGTV would bring it back!

I've watched David for years! He is fabulous! Very down to Earth man. I've enjoyed watching him during the pandemic from his house. I agree with everyone else, the tattoos are getting a little much. It's his body and he can do whatever he wants to it. Please no more face tats David. That's what prisoners in jail do!

He is a smart, kind, and extremely talented man. His tattoos are his choice. Any discussion and judgement of them is not even relevant to the topic of this video. It appears that the show goes on with David's tattoos just fine. Good thing so many other HGTV fans are not as judgemental as those commenting here. Contrary to some shallow opinions, one can be good looking AND have tattoos. 😂

Linda S you are absolutely correct in that the tattoos are his choice. And it’s his body to do with as he pleases. I don’t think they mean he’s a bad person. But every time you see him he’s got another tattoo covering up that beautiful skin and body. Which again is his choice. I know lots of people with tattoos. Hell, I have two, though granted most people will never see them. But if you’ve ever had to be a support system for someone who was going through the painful removal of two dozen tattoos and spent hours verbalizing their regret, you might have a different viewpoint. I got my two in discreet locations because I knew that as I got older, what looked cute at 30 looked sad at 70. But that’s just me. David is handsome, talented and funny but all that ink just creeps me out and at times, makes it difficult to concentrate on HIM. It’s like women who wear too much makeup. You can’t really see them because all that paint is a distraction.

The point is your choice of words used to describe David, "grotesque and circus freak" are shameful. I won't waste my time speaking on it any further as I see there's no remorse. It never ceases to amaze me how "brave" people get behind a keyboard. I can't imagine you would call David grotesque to his face.

Here's the question I think everybody has but they never address this. So do they truly only get 3 choices on these shows? If not, how many exactly do they comb through to get down to 3?

I love this video!!!!!! I met David at Seattle Design Studio a decade ago and he was fun & genuine. He really loves bringing people and design together.

David...he is so sweet and nice. I just love him and his show. He's funny and a lotta fun. If I EEEVER win the lottery, I'm callin David to find me a house.❤

I always watched every episodes David is the reason to me he is so down to earth and I enjoy how he interacts with the winners one of my favorite shows 😊

I love David. I watched him on Design Star then I watched Colorsplash in San Francisco and Colorsplash 2 when he moved back to Miami. If I see he's going to be on something I watch. He's so cute and fit and funny and bubbly. I'd love to meet him and hang out for the weekend as he finds my dream home on the Florida coast somewhere.

David must have been raised well. He is always so kind and complimentary to his guests. I really liked the show where he hosted with his Best Buddy and makeup artist.
