I think french are intellectual? Considering the intellectual level of Americans, I guess we can say that french are intellectual in comparison. And french are not dirty. In 2024 it s silly to take 2 showers/a day.. personally 1shower a day in summer.. and 1shower every 2 days when I stay at home is enough.. especially when water is limited

Hi dear Ellie, this was so much fun to watch! I really enjoyed this video (as always 🙂). It is really interesting what assumptions people tend to have 😀. I find really fascinated your attitude towards the food! I really envy you 😀. And how can you stay slim with all that food??! 😀. In my country (Czech) we have usually just one course, the main dish, or the soup before that. That`s all. Definitely no cheese plate and the dessert at the end 🙂. But we definitively have an alcohol, beer usually 😀. Thank you very much and maj sa krásně 🙂 Marcela

Ahoj Marcela, dakujem ti krasne za komentar :) It is so nice to read your comment since I am Slovak and French ! I know exactly how we eat in easter countries and I am a soup person too. Even if in France their is a lot of cheese and yummy stuff its all about balance and since I am now lactose intolerant it's a little easier to avoid the yummy stuff cause I don't really have the choice haha

Owww thank you so much Olga :) Well I learnt English by watching English movies and videos when I was 8-9 yo and then I just loved it so much that I started reading in English. I guess that our brains are like sponges, especially when you enjoy what you are learning, it sticks !

When I visited Paris in August French people where very helpful with directions. When I lived in NY back in 1985, these french guys said that french people don't like to speak English. When I visited Paris I would try to Bonjour and Merci. In NY if you say hi they might think that's weird. But there are lot of friendly New Yorkers. I heard that in France you have bad tap water, so you learn to drink wine at a young age. I visited NY this year as well as Paris. I think NY and Paris are sister cities. There was French play in NY called Norte Dame de Paris. Where the actors speak in French and not English.

that is so funny, I think the tap water here is actually really good depending where you are in france, the best is near the mountains !

The problem is not speaking English.. where you re french if you speak English, other Frenches will laugh at you: "your English is great!, your English sucks".. whatever we speak good or bad, people laugh at us but they are the ones who only speak french. Frenches are working less than other countries that s a fact.. BUT Frenches are in the most productive in the world. So we spend less time at work but we re doing more than other in less time.. also that s a fact you can find yourself on internet

J'adore ce vidéoclip :) Unfortunately, I think that the French guy that lived in my dorm really didn't take a shower... he smelled so bad, like he didn't wash himself for a week or more, and he was also rude, but he was opposite from everything that you said in the video. maybe other people see only these people that are exceptions and come to these stereotypes.

Hey, so the lipstick is from Dior it is a small tester I got and For the second question if I understood it well I would say every single French woman has her own morning routine, some like to do their skincare before doing anything else and others do it before leaving the house ! I hope I answered a little :)
