Yes, u do girl. You are that voice you hear in ur head that tells u if a situation, ppl or place feels good or bad. What that voice/thought guides your decisions to act upon a certain way is exactly who you are at your core! We all have that "voice" but we spend a lifetime trying to suppress it to conform to what we think others want or will approve of to fit in! Listen to yourself and your intuition to become an authentic version of yourself. God gave us all discernment so we won't be lead ashtray from our good morals and values. Listen to that above anything else and you will always do what's right for you even if others don't understand it. Soon enough it will lead you down paths that help you reach goals for yourself. You got to stand for something or you will fall for anything is my favourite quote. My favorite scripture is, for I know the plans I have for you says the Lord. Plans to prosper you and to give you a HOPE and FUTURE!! I hope this helps you in some way and makes sense. Much love n light to you on your journey!

I’m sure he was the type of pastor preaching loyalty and pure marriage w no cheating. How can you not understand how he was kicked out if he’s being a hypocrite? Who knows what else he’s a hypocrite about. I’m just saying I understand the situation and don’t think he’d have much of a following if he was to continue working at the church.

Much love to everyone of different faiths💛 but if anyone is interested please look to the bible on this topic Matthew 7:15 “Beware of false prophets, who come to you in sheep's clothing but inwardly are ravenous wolves. 1 John 4:1 Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God, for many false prophets have gone out into the world. Matthew 24:24 For false christs and false prophets will arise and perform great signs and wonders, so as to lead astray, if possible, even the elect. 2 Peter 2:1 But false prophets also arose among the people, just as there will be false teachers among you, who will secretly bring in destructive heresies, even denying the Master who bought them, bringing upon themselves swift destruction. 2 Corinthians 11:13-15 For such men are false apostles, deceitful workmen, disguising themselves as apostles of Christ. And no wonder, for even Satan disguises himself as an angel of light. So it is no surprise if his servants, also, disguise themselves as servants of righteousness. Their end will correspond to their deeds. Matthew 24:11 And many false prophets will arise and lead many astray.

Y’all tend to forget even religious people are sinners who need to ask for daily forgiveness. It isn’t hypocritical if they are constantly speaking on how we all need to work on being better and how anyone can fall which he has in the past spoken about. He in no way acts like he is holier than thou. Many pastors do. He isn’t one. A lot of people in these comments don’t even care about this man you simply hate religion and needed an outlet to vent. 🙄

Most people in the comment critising religion are giving valid and true. Criticisms is not hatred. Plus i don't know if you actually watched this video, shallon actually defended the guy like what are you going on about, you pastor worshipper. If jesus himself can criticise and chastise the pharisees, who the hell is this guy and why do you think he (or anyone in the church) is above reproach? If you know anything about the bible, you know that leaders are held to a higher standard than the congregation. It says that leaders are going to be judged more harshly because people usually follow their example.

How not to become a hater Stand up for yourself and others. As it's authentic to yourself. This is done in micro instances. Stay passionate and busy, you'll realize you have purpose and your hobbies will make you happy. Happiness will be your dominant vibration. (This is a constant effort / decisions) - Being around what you love will aggregate a bouquet within you about what you love. Negativity will feel foreign. You can't be bothered focusing on it. You will be able to protect your peace and know when to pull back. Love the words of wisdom at the end.

Bear in mind that cognitive dissonance leads to self-persuasion by making yourself believe that your decisions are correct. So really, you can live with doing wrong as long as you argument to yourself that you're doing the right thing or at least not being wrong. So "I'm a terrible gf because I cheat on my bf" can easily turn into "I cheat on my bf because he is not a good bf". A great book on this is "Influence" by Robert Cialdini. The example of the US POWs in Red China camps is eye opening.

I'm going to be honest. I don't think it's fully possible to strictly follow the way of the lord in todays society. I was going to Church for a bit and joined a study group, they wanted me to stop doing anything that was immoral, porn, sex, looking at people with lust, shoplifting, drinking. All that stuff. I walked away when they said I had to stop being gay and should break up with my partner. This video has shown me that all of these god devout and strict living people will most likely snap and engage in something that is considered as 'straying' because its too much pressure to uphold.

This is a great video for those of us getting frustrated with post election social media posts. The amount of times I've seen the "let's all be kind", "we're all neighbors", "there's no reason to call all trump supporters racist/homophobic/sexist ext" and I've really wanted to make responses to educate these people and explain why what they're saying is so hurtful and why you can't use religion to justify discrimination. But then I thought about it and realized... if they wanted to do the research... they would. It's not worth my time and energy trying to convince someone to have basic empathy for other people and their struggles for equality. It's been 4 years... we've all seen the same things and clearly it effected some of us more than others. Clearly some people have a different interpretation of do onto others as you would have them do onto you, do not take the lord's name in vain, do not worship false gods, ext ext BUT ANYWAY. Like you said, not my circus not my monkey. I am happy it seems like the majority of the country is agreeing about what is/isn't acceptable in the year 2020 but BOY DO WE STILL HAVE WORK TO DO. But I sleep well at night knowing my vote was not just for myself but also for those in communities that have been targeted the past 4 years. So people can attack me and say my beliefs are disgusting and whatever whatever but I'll sleep well at night knowing one day I'll tell my kids I was on the right side of history during the 2020 election. Thanks for coming to my TED talk.
