Hi Tania! Congrats and that's awesome. I should have been more clear about barriers to entry. What I meant to convey is that for experienced sales people, it's really hard to move from other Industries into tech sales as an AE, without starting as a BDR. For example, if you are coming from pharm sales, medical device, telco, IT hardware, jobs where you are making $120k and up OTE and you want to make the switch to SaaS, it's hard to take a step back and be a BDR @$45k base salary and making 100 dials a day. And SaaS firms are really reluctant to give really good AEs from other industries a chance. They would rather bring on BDRs cheap and move them up. It's been a pretty big issue in tech sales for awhile.
