    Hello. I love how even though you point out the first girl is using a "not the best brand of amla oil", you complement her techniques and her hair. (Some women who don't have our hair type turn their noses up at our hair type) .With the second girl, you also complement her techniques, the type of comb she is using, etc. You can educate women without tearing them down for using not-so-great products. And you do that amazingly. Also, I don't just listen to the pitch, I listen to see if what the seller is saying makes SENSE. Knowledge is key. I'm so impressed that I subbed immediately and purchased the amla oil you sell. The first time I purchased amla oil, I never used it. But I will definitely be using this one and looking forward to getting it shipped to me. Thank you. Be blessed.

    The scent should be very subtle! Anytime I hear someone experienced Amla smelling strong it gives me red flags! Always remember that 1% rule by the FDA, not every ingredient has to be listed

    khadija you really are the best, thank you so much for being transparent about your products. with all my annoying sensitivities i also have celiac disease and have to avoid wheat, rye, and barley. that can be so hard to avoid when raw products are commonly handled or shipped together (my latest order of fenugreek was processed with wheat!!). i'm going to start doing my hair on twitch tv and showing my hair cut and wash day routines. if i can keep up with it regularly i'll definitely contact you with my info in case you are still wanting to connect with small content creators. currently my stuff involves video gaming, sewing projects, and chronic illness awareness.

    when I found out that amla does not have such a strong smell, I started informing all relatives and friends about it. i know that brand of amla in the first video we used to use it at home and wherever you went people knew you used amla. i want to add one thing dear khadija you are a beautiful person inside and out. even though both ladies in the video don't use your brand, you're always looking for something nice to say about them. stays that way forever❤❤

    You know what I noticed. Certain countries don’t have a law about stating accurate ingredients. I have seen top selling all natural hair dye and the ingredients that are listed don’t add up to the hair tone they achieved. A lot of people like myself are allergic to ppd/PTD plus other chemicals. Sometimes severely. Plus brands like that give henna and indigo a bad name. People think that’s what they are using then they have a bad reaction at the salon or whatever. Then it’s the hennas fault. Black ‘natural’ hair dye is a popular one. None of the herbs will give a permanent jet black color in the amount of time listed. I also noticed that about all natural shampoos etc…

  • @HennaSooq

    @HennaSooq

    Жыл бұрын

    Exactly! It's so sad, it gives the natural hair community a bad rep. Plus, these herbs work so wonderfully on their won. There is no reason to add additional chemicals, it's so unnecessary. It's taking advantage of those who just want to be using more natural products :(

    I just wrote a piece about this on a local hair group. People seem to always want to avoid peroxides or ammonia but the real danger is ppd. I nearly landed up in the ER. I explained exactly what you said about processing time. The coloured henna caused a reaction in 10 mins. That means it contains a lot of dye with a high percentage ppd. Other dyes caused a reaction after at least an hour or 2. Some took almost 8 hrs before I had a reaction.

    Kadija I just received your Amla oil and been using it for about a week. So far it feels amazing as my hair is becoming very soft and isn't greasy at all when i use small quantities. I am a natural redhead with fair skin and hope to restore the breakage throughout my hair. I definitely try to keep in protective style but some days i get too busy. I wish you had a tutorial specifically for your oil instead of reaction videos... unless you have one but i haven't seen it. Also the Ayurvedic oil is also wonderful. Im not washing it out but leave on to seal in moisture after using leave in conditioner. I guess every hair type so different the routine not all the same.. your oil feels great to leave in!!

    Hi. Just wanna know/inform: There is a compagny called Botanic Planet Canada Inc and they are selling amla oil virgin organic made from the seeds of the amla (cold-press extracted). I buy a lot from them. Maybe there is a process to obtain amla oil from seeds and maybe there is also the macerated version of the oil with amla that is available. I wrote to the compagnie to be sure, but if we believe the description of the product on that website, it is possible to have a real oil coming from alma seeds only 🙂 It does smell devine, sublte. Mixed with lilac absolute, it is amazing. Anyhow, great contents 👌🏽

    Are there any recomendatons of how often to use this method on henna treated hair? I keep my hair black and with my root growth (which comes in fast even though I don't seem to get length) I color every 4 weeks. My hair is straight, super fine and fragile but I don't want to over oil if that lifts the henna or shortens the length of time it stays vibrant. Would I want to do this weekly? monthly? or? Thank you so much!!! I learn SO much from these videos and I'm waiting for a day to binge watch older ones lol.

    Oiling the scalp is best done a minimal of at least 30 minutes before washing but 4 hrs is better or overnight. It can depend on your hair type and what you find works best for you. I oil overnight and I have low porosity hair. In terms of frequency 1 to 2 times a week is sufficient, however it's not uncommon for some to oil everyday. Really it comes down to hair type and how often you wash.
