It's a thing you clip onto the integrated scope of a real life G36. it adds a red dot, and if you use another version a laser and a night vision scope are given as well. This is just the basic version though. The biggest problem with this sight tho, is the fact that because of the way you aim in this game, it's literally not even how you aim with the actual G36 red dot.

The sight is actually good in real life because you have an eye to look at your background while the other eye looks through your optic. So, visual cluster isn't something you feel in real life.

@@godwanalandlesotho7452 the optic is just an awful piece of garbage by modern standards. Glas quality and FOV are nearly existent, the reticle is quite okay tho for the 3x. When the G36 was fielded in the mid 1990s it was a huge improvement over irons and revolutionary to equip every single soldier with an optical sight. But by now it’s obsolescent

Its a backup sight for its main optic but seeing this is run and gun game, it wont be easy to use this. Its not a bad sight for what it is in the late 90's

I love the GP37 in stalker, that's why i use the G36 with the dual optic :)

This literally is the real optic on the g36

Fun fact: Everyone hated this optic in real life too, which is why newer G36's no longer feature it. Edit: Ok, not everyone hated this optic and it being phased out was due to a number of other factors.

I used the G36 in the german army for 4 years on an allmost daily basis. It wasn't that bad. Not at all. The reflex optic works just like any other red dot sight. If you leave both eyes open, the shilouette of the sight disappears visually and you pretty much only see the dot and the target. The Zeis HKV red dot sight, the one on top, was also used as the primary optic on the MP7 when it was introduced in the german Military. The problem with the dual optic on the G36 was height over bore in first place. Some cases of the 3x scope fogging up in humid conditions were also reported, but i have never seen that myself.

@@geist41334 That's actually super interesting and not something I knew before. I realized that a lot of complaints about the narrow field of view were regarding the 3x optic and not the red dot featured in the video. (I've never used either optic so feel free to correct me again if I'm wrong.)

Used it in the German armed forces for years, it's really not bad at all, this game just really doesn't show what aiming with it actually looks like.

That scope is useful for his other sight. It has a sniper sight under the small one.

When you going to be deployed in an active battle zone at 8 but you have an eye exam at 9

I love that sight in stalker call of Pripyat. G36 is like my favorite gun in the stalker series

If that's so, then you should try "Stalker AREA" and buy or look for the G36. You can use both optics, and you can attach the unique accurate M320 grenade launcher to it, just to make it look prettier, also the magazine is plastic so you can see the bullets through and the model is clear and pretty, the sound is powerful and the kick power is amazing, although it has accuracy problems

You made another mistake. You didn’t feature the second sight in your dual sight. Plus that sight you features is for when someone’s very close to you. The other sight is a 3x so it would be amazing to shoot someone at medium range. Make another video again and feature the sight then give an overall review.

Fun fact this was an extension to the original built in sight on the G36 it was used for longer distance's but luckily the military saw no use for it besides taking off the sight frame and add a holo or a acog scope so historical accuracy, correct but actual use was terrible

I have one for my gasblow back g36 had it years both the red dot and 3.5x scopes are perfectly fine you just aim with both eyes open that way the actual scope kind of disappears when you focus on the red dot

G36 family: literally no controllable recoil but the camera recoil is like getting kicked in the teeth

So i can say that in reallife this sight is pretty good and also Standard issued with g36 rifels. So its pretty good and also it has two sights in one

It ain't the worst sight if it is issued to soldiers in real life.

I actually use that on the mp7. I is not bad once you get to use it. Plus the bottom optic is better.

It’s updated to a useable degree now

The G36C is one of my favorite guns in PF. It has a very fast walkspeed and can have very low recoil with setup. I currently use the Delta Sight with PBS-1 Suppressor, Vertical Grip, Blue Lazer, and stock ammo with a full ATC-Naval* skin. It's beautiful.

As a former German soldier, I can confirm it's not great, however irl you would look through both eyes so it's not as bad haha

Games really don't do scopes like these justice. Technically speaking, in the real life, due to binocular vision, the sight should just appear as an after image and not really impede the shooters situational awareness. I wish more games would show that by having the housing of the scope appear transparent or something.

I main it for my shotgun, it is pretty good for quick scoping but not much else.

In my opinion it's decent if you want to focus on one target you can surely kill them with that sight without them just running away and loosing them using a normal sight

Exactly this sight is the reason why the German military switched to Pikantini rails. Unfortunately much too late

Common issue with the G36s dual scope was that it would fog up its not actually that narrow of a line of sight but the sight is quite narrow. I imagine the newer G36s might have better optics. But I don’t think Heckler and Koch make the first models of G36s anymore I might be wrong don’t quote me.

thats a hybrid optic, the top sight is for cqc or short range. while the sight below it would be the one for medium to long range shots.

Dont know why in games they always gotta zoom in so close. When in reality the top sight is just there to know where the rifle is pointed. As the bottom magnification sight is for accurate fire. G 36 been doing dual sights before they where cool.

FYI gents it's a real scope for those who didn't know

The Real sight is much bigger and green its a G36 Sight, it is intented to use with both eyes open for shots up to 100 meters, the Red dot covers 25 cm, the Cool Thing is at day time it runs just by sundlight it has a integrated light snail so you need Batteries only at night time, i used it during my basic military service in 2008 in the german armed forces

Also, if you use it on the g36c or the g36k (not sure which one) and you switch to the alternate aim, you cant even see it, its just the stock of the gun that you see.

That’s because the sight you are using, is the top sight, for CQC there’s a sight on the bottom, more akin to a sniper scope.

Its good for me, keeps me focused on one target, i get overwhelmed if i see more than 3 enemies

in real life you would use the sight with both eyes open, so your brain would overlay the red dot in one eye and and the background with the other eye. video games act like you only have one eyeball and your whole sight picture gets blocked

As an Insurgency Sandstorm enjoyer, the only use for this sight is the 3x magnification. In Insurgency, it's better to point shoot than use the sight. I'm pretty sure hipfire in this game would still be better

OK I know someone from the Spanish military they will say they really love it and some of them will say they are not much of a fan but the red dots are just for medium range in and not for full auto
