    Plot twist it wasnt the chair shots that made him insane or even losing his ear... it was being forgotten about by his boss... by the time he came out the ring the arena was empty and everyone had flown home.. legend has it the real mick foley is still there waiting on vince to pick him up... he is now known as.......... The RAKE

    If I’m not mistaken, the original PPV is actually considered lost media since the footage of the matches that were filmed using the temporary equipment has yet to surface in full.

    I always find this story amazing because my mom and dad were actually at this pay per view live when this all happened. My mom was aware of the storm outside, but at first she thought it was supposed to be a scripted lights out until the emergency lights came on.

    Only time i can remember is when Raw i wanna say 2015 after the rumble was “cancelled” bcuz of that massive snow storm. JBL was on top of Titan Towers getting hammered with snow lol.

    Yeah. WWE showed the WWE Championship and Royal Rumble matches from the RR 2015 on Monday while Michael Cole did an interview to Lesnar & Heyman, whom later does it with Reigns.

    Funny, I was 15 at the time, and this was the first PPV I talked my mother into buying for me. Not the best experience, but I did find it cool that they made up for it a few days later (and honestly the strap match in the replay was pretty amazing)

    Remember I was a teenager I'd actually went to the Memphis wrestling uswa promotion in Louisville Gardens the night before some of the wrestlers are still there it was a great experience plus I used to get all the paper views from WWE and WWF back in the day when satellite dishes were top notch you had primestar that you can hack the card and get all the pay-per-views for free those were the days

    I used to get the paper views for free and I think I got the ask my Uncle to tape it for me because he worked at heading used to put the tapes in any just got a promotion so we get the call-up work so I understand

    Damn I haven’t heard someone ask me that since I was ab a teenager lmao!! But Any & Everytime someone new came along that was looking for the “Secretive First Loop” we always told em it was over off of King & Queens!!! No bullshit some of them actually bought it too!! Good times good times!! (I grew up right behind the king Cadillac dealership literally right the corner of King ave & Queens ave)

    The whole thing wouldn’t have been canceled. It was 2 nights, so they would have just jam packed night two or hold Raw in the stadium

    13:16 So basically the biggest draw in wwf history arguably, and the person who ended WCW's ratings winning streak, all started from a mediocre ppv that had a power outtage, as well as a good performance against Savio Vega of all people.

    I believe so yes, from what I remembered there was even a time when the lights were flickering while they were hammering each other with the straps. Not sure if that was lightning from the outside though illuminating the darkened arena, but it could also be from the lights dying off

    I remember this day. I was 12. At this time my parents would order every WWF PPV for me. On this day my mom called the cable company to purchase this and couldn’t order. Was told that there was trouble with the weather so she couldn’t order. She was able to make the purchase of Beware of Dog 2 2 days later

    I was there that night. Florence, SC. When the lights when out we all thought Undertaker was coming out. All the lighters were in the air and then Finkel get a megaphone out. It was pretty dope actually. Felt like an ECW event with Savio and Stone Cold.

    Vince doesn't forgive or forget. When Storm (first name Lance) finally arrived in WWE Vince made sure to get payback by burying him. Plus there was the time when Vince made God put him over in a tag team match.
