Hey guys, An Ancient Secret Lies Hidden in these female carvings of Rani Ki Vav Temple. These Women, known as Madhanikas are carved in most Indian temples, but in this temple they reveal a shocking secret.
Here is a woman, just waking up from her sleep, see how she is stretching her arms, as we all do as soon we wake up. Notice her hair, how it is made into a casual bun from last night. What would she do next? Of course she has to go take a bath and get ready for the day.
She has now taken a bath and is standing in front of a mirror. Look at her hair now, it is not in a bun, she has long wet hair. And she is wrapping a towel around her hair, and drying it. This is called a towel-wrap, and most women do it today, before they use a hair drier. The sculptor has beautifully captured this moment, where she is casually drying off her hair. But there is a twist in the carving, you see this bird? What is it doing it here? The water droplets from the tip of her hair, is trickling, drop by drop, and the bird is fascinating by this, and it is drinking those water droplets.
Now look at this figure, this is carved in the restricted area of the temple. So, I couldn’t get a close up view of the carving. But she is doing something strange. She is holding a weird device. Can you tell me what it is? Yes it a hair drier. I know some of you will say, this is a ridiculous claim, they did not use hair driers a 1000 years ago. But what if I told you Indians still use these ancient hair driers, but they are not electric hair driers. In India, most women still do not use electric hair driers, they burn a natural benzoin resin called Sambrani.
They will put it inside a container and light it on fire and close the lid, which has holes in it. The device has a long handle and benzoin burns slowly and the women let their hair dry from the heat and smoke. We can buy these native hair driers in any country store in India. Ok, what happens next? Of course she would put on make up and lipstick, right?
And you may think that Indian women did not use lipstick in ancient times, but you are wrong. Again, and again I have shown you ancient carvings where lipstick was used by women. This is a thousand year old temple and you can see clearly that she is putting lipstick on. This is why I keep saying that we should recognize Rani Ki Vav as a wonder of the world, because it changes history, many people think lipsticks were invented in Europe. No. Indians were using lipstick more than two thousand years ago. In my previous videos, when I mentioned that ancient Indians used lipstick, many historians tried to dismiss it saying, no she is chewing betel leaves, or she is about to eat a piece of clove, etcetera, simply because it goes against the mainstream narrative. But the ancient text of Kamasutra clearly mentions that women used lipstick to appear beautiful. The book even tells us how they made lipstick - it was made of beeswax, and coloring agents. And this book is around 1800 years old, so you can imagine how Indian women were pioneers in fashion technology.
And here is another one, a woman putting eyeliner. Yes, She is looking at the mirror, and she is putting eyeliner, or I don’t know if it Mascara or what you call it. And you may have previously thought that eyeliners and Mascaras and all these fashion accessories were creations from the western world, but look I am showing you a series of ancient carvings proving that Indian women were doing all of this. Women of Ancient India probably lived the same lifestyle of today’s women, if they were not more advanced.

Like everyone else, I am blown away by this man's infinite ability to comprehend this sometimes impossibly complex ancient wisdom, parse it out, and then EFFORTLESSLY share it to MILLIONS of people in a way that connects with all of us. I believe he has become what he is urging us to believe we are all capable of becoming, and this gift he gives to the world... He is one of the few that truly has the ability to change the tide. Hey I was also in america in maryland for my masters in electronics and communication. You have a beautiful country. But one thing I really want to request you is that please try to spread some awareness among americans about Indians. We are generally very polite welcoming people and love to learn and make friends from other cultures. And at first I knew that in america Indian's are very much respected because there are countless Indians working in america in the technical and engineering sector. But what I faced when I was doing masters was very disappointing. Because most of the americans had some very wrong knowledge and stereotypes against Indians, Not just me they called names and mocked almost all of the Indians there. Like Curry people, Uncivilized , dirty . In the group projects absolutely zero americans were interested to do project with us Indians , but there were couple of mexicans and chinese people who welcomed us to their group, and they became amazing friends. And ironically they were also facing what we were facing. I made zero american friends in my four years of stay in america. So it's my request to you guys as a brother that please try to spread some awareness and just tell them that Indians are good hospitable people and just tell them to stop stereotyping us with some limited knowledge that they have managed to gather from the biased western media.

My name is Dyah, I'm from East Java, Indonesia, and yes, as you mentioned in other video there are a lot of ancient ruins in Indonesia with similar damages as in India (chopped head, hands, etc.). Now, few Indonesians are starting to explore the ancient ruins from Hindu-Buddha era and publish their findings in internet. I've shared your videos publicly with them, and I hope your work will inspire them on how to separate between their own perception about an ancient temple (for example) and what's actually there, so we can appropriately decipher many things inherited by our ancestors. Ancient Indian stonework is among the most beautiful on earth. Men devoted entire lifetimes to create what you see. They almost seem obsessed with making sure that the knowledge these carvings hold was passed down. You don't see anyone today taking on such incredible feats of engineering. Imagine how long it took to complete all the stonework you see in just this temple and India is covered in temples that are just as complex and beautiful. Some temples leave you with your mouth hanging open wondering how they created such detailed work it must have taken many generations of people to create some of them. It makes you really want to understand what they are trying to tell you because they didn't create these temples for no reason they all hold knowledge that needs to be uncovered.

Agreed. It seems self evident to me after I have seen & heard SO MANY in power around the world at so many sites of ancient history of human beings THAT THEY PROCLAIM THE OFFICIAL STORY which is obviously A LIE either intentionally told or made up based upon old ignorant and incomplete information BUT BECAUSE THEY HAVE THE POWER NOW THEY REFUSE TO LET ANY ONE ELSE EVEN LOOK AT all that can now be seen… What are these bastards hiding? Why for what purpose would archeologists be prevented from discovering THE TRUTH OF OUR ACTUAL HISTORY? Egypt refuses to allow archeologists to excavate under the sphinx where ancient writings state clearly there are libraries of information about ancient cultures.. Antarctica is off limits by an agreement from all the most powerful in every country at the close of WWII… they’ve even blurred the sat images revealing self evident pyramids like those in Egypt… why? What are they hiding? The u.s. Smithsonian Institute finally admitted they intentionally destroyed thousands if not 10s of thousands of gigantic human Skeleton bones. Why? What are they hiding and why are they hiding it from the rest of us? The Vatican has 19 miles of storage chock full of scrolls books art & ancient relics that they refuse to investigate they refuse to allow anyone to view & no one is allowed to even go down there… WHY? And more importantly WHY TF ARE THE 7.5 billion of us MODERN PEOPLE OF THIS WORLD IN ALL COUNTRIES STILL ALLOWING A MINUSCULE tiny handful of obviously psychopathic megalomaniac liars to restrict the access to THE TRUTH of OUR HUMAN & world HISTORY? Every one wants to blame the secrets on old white Western European males But the Egyptian govt is nit composed of white European men & THISE lying controlling bastards refuse to allow access to archeologists and historians to the sphinx The giant pyramid hidden in South America just a couple feet under earth & vegetation was self evidently NOT A NATURAL MOUNTAIN -it is a perfect replica of the pyramid of Giza - just a lot larger BUT THOSE Bastards IN THAT SOUTH AMERICAN COUNTRY’S govt are not “old west European white men” and yet they created huge legal issues for the historian archeologist who wanted to merely LOOK UNDER THE DIRT & VEGETATION TO SEE IF IT WAS REALLY A PYRAMID… for years much like Egypt they made it illegal for him to even go there… WHY FOR WHAT PURPOSE WOULD A GOVT do that? He finally was able to prove it is a man made pyramid. It took 10 years because the control freak bastards would not let him even look. Now the bastards have prevented him from returning to the site… Why? For what purpose do the bastards intend to maintain the collective ignorance of the people of the world? Why do they get to decide what the people of the world get to know about our earth? For myself all of these independent restrictions and individual country’s ridiculous rules & laws restricting the gathering and sharing of knowledge combined with JUST THE THOUSANDS OF LIES I KNOW HAVE BEEN intentionally TOLD TO US - like the denial of giant human beings combined with the destruction of tens of thousands of giant human skeleton bones? PROVES TO ME THAT THESE EXACT SAME MEGALOMANIACIAL PSYCHOPATHS are wicked & of evil intention. There is no other reason for them all to be so miserly with what is our collective ancestry & important for all of us to know. The only reason to intentionally lie to us for hundreds of years while they’ve kept all the power is for a nefarious purpose… There is no good or even decent reason to intentionally lie to all of us about our earth’s history.

Thank you Praveen. Your scholarly pursuit in understanding the deeper significance of the Hindu Faiths is always inspiring and most welcome. It should be evident to long time viewers of your channel that these temples were instructional in every way. There was, and is, an exterior lesson within its carvings and another internal lesson to learn as well. For what its worth here is my two cents worth on the subject. The Madhanikas are symbols of the Mahashakti. And the carvings represent the pitfalls on our journey in seeking God, and the ways to overcome such mala. It appears to me that each Madhanikas is dealing with one samskara or mala or another. The men, the boys, the babies, each representing to the devotee the dangers along the way. These carvings show the aspirant the dangers of pursuing ones sadhana without proper guidance, as the Guru dwells both within and without. The Madhanikas representing both the lila and the maya of the Almighty. What at first appears to be an object of desire soon becomes a terrible trap, and later still reveals herself to be one of the Goddesses. Whether it is Kali Ma or Ma Durga, the devotee must learn to recognize the goddess in all her forms. Thanks again for sharing with us brother. Wishing you both bukti and mukti. Swasti!

As a gay non-binary biological man, I am totally immuned to the charms of the Madhanikas. Still, very impressive interpretation of the carving, as always, I'm amazed by your work of research Praveen, you are doing India great good by teaching us the truth that colonialism tried to erease.

Brother, think it in this way, the things you are attracted to and due to them you aren't able to achieve more are actually Madhanikas for you. It's not a matter of male, female, trans or gay its a matter of distraction. Your madhanika is your distraction. Thanks. :-)

Praveen, notice also that in the statue of her extracting the snake venom there is also a bird behind her. It appears to be a peafowl of some sort, which are known to protect people from snakes and are used in this regard to protect properties, families, farm animals, etc by keeping a flock of them on the property. The peafowl appears to be looking up, watching the body of the serpent.

These interpretations are all too subjective, we don't have adequate proofs to substantiate these interpretation claims because we do not have any direct information from the builder & master sculptors of this temple. These are all speculative assumptions.

Thank for your dedication to uncover history, you have done so not with words but with the prove left behind in temples for future generation to see. India was not a poor nation, it was an advaced society with doctors, poets, dancers, teachers etc., it's poor today because it was impoverished by others as an example Brittain that held an iron fist on this nation and ruled with cruelty and hate. I am not from India, I was born in Cuba and live in Costa Rica, this tells you that India's history is of a transcultural interest. God bless you and yours, and " the truth is out there".

Thank you very much . Firstly I am passionate about beautiful temple carvings and spent almost my whole life visiting different places in India, from north to south and from east to west , and you are so correct in describing the ' madanikas ' and their various roles in society . I am a woman and I used very little make-up, that too only on occasions like weddings and religious festivals . I used home-made kajal made with camphor which kept the eyes cool , even soorma helps to clean the eyes and keep it cool .

The Bharat culture valued and saw women as beautiful, and filled the temples with superb sculptures. These show every day activities, as a spark of the divine. How different we would be if this was widely adopted.

Praveen, thank you for your perspective and perception of this temple. As I wonder about the artistic sculptures, the question of who created these divine works is a query on a personal level. I am Western selftaught artist that did not have knowledge of Sanatana Dharm until recently, yet 15yrs ago, began creating images that relate to these shown by you. So, who were the sculpturers then? And who are those souls now? Why do I feel connected? This is mind-blowing!!♾🕉
