It was the main cemetery of the city of Granada since it was founded by the Arabs in the 13th century. Later, upon the arrival of the Catholic Monarchs, they donated it to the city, and gradually it became narrower as the surrounding buildings grew: the Royal Hospital, the Convent of La Merced, the Church of San Ildefonso... In its center, the Virgin of Triumph presides over these eight-century gardens. Today, The TRIUMPH GARDENS.
