You're a really great teacher dude. The way you approach drums as a passion and discipline is exactly what most new players need. You also approach making your videos in a vary relaxed state and it makes the viewer feel like they're in the same room.

That cowbell metronome was recorded as Bessie was walking through the field. Love it. Rhythm lives all around us, just listen. Practice on Mr. Brown. Great name for the exercise.

Never heard describing the strokes for accents and ghost notes as Dog Paddling. That's helpful for we who are more audfio/ tactile than visual. Thanks. The different surfaces on the same side of the pad is a cool concept I had never seen either.

This is fantastic stuff for anyone who needs to learn to loosen up a bit. Back in my high school's marching band we would play a triplet/diddle exercise where we shifted around the accents and diddles, and I swear I got yelled at all the time because my hands were too "flowy" and not stiff enough for our director. I had no idea at the time that I was basically doing the Moeller motion. I still do exercises like these on the pad all the time, but of course they're really fun around the kit too.

Rob... I have had to switch to dbl bass pedals because I had a solid ankle fusion due to a MOTO-X 'ass'ident I had back in 2006, 19 surgeries later I figured I would find a work around for my triplet trouble. So I no longer have that ankle movement that I need vertically... I can bounce it by choking far back on the pedal but I dont get the power I want on the second & third hit with a single Rick Allen is the one that encourage me to keep tryin' by the way, but with a single pedal I just cant find the speed brah! What would Rob Brown do in this situation? Haha... but seriously... I know this is about sticks but it created the urge to ask ya about the pedal situation.
