Can you believe this? You have that much skill that can for example make a bolt and screw the size you like with material you like instead of going to Home Depot trying to find it. What a level of freedom in life. Thank you for showing this dream to even be possible.

Friend of my parents makes scale steam locomotives from scratch on his lathe. He even machined a screw that had fallen out of my mom's glasses. Crazy indeed

I wish I'd known more Men growing up, known mor People with skills like this that I could learn from. As it was, I was raised by a bunch of Women, never had any Male role models and have to self-teach myself just about everything. I'm a good laser engraver/cutter now and am looking to add a CNC router to my toolset soon, then into plasma cutting. Hoping to have a lathe like this at some point as well- one step at a time though!

Now seriously, that drill is wobbling horribly, just putting and end mill in the drill chuck until you had a flat, then use a center drill and you could have had the hoe on center and not have had to clean up all the weld.

При фрезеровании подачу делают навстречу вращения фрезы. При попутной подаче фрезу закусит.

How horrid, all that welding spatter all over the machine! As a machinist I want to make you sweep chips for the rest of the day and think about what you've done! See that mill over there, the one noone else is allowed to touch, its 25 years old been run 16 hrs a day and it doesnt have a single mark in the table or ways!!! GO SWEEP!!!
