Just took my first fall today and it was on hard road concrete so you can imagine the feeling and injuries afterwards. But I’m planning on getting back to skating after my cuts have healed because I don’t feel like risking hurting the same area twice and making my recovery time longer. Keep skating, and never give up guys.

I was trying to kickflip manual back 180 out, and was too tired to get the pop for the 180. I got scared as soon as the board didn't turn with me and tried to bail but landed halfway on the board and rolled my front ankle (usually the back) so hard. Took two months to get back skating and now I'm almost 30 I think I'm about done anyway.

Less embarrassing than mine. My first time skating I sprained my wrist bending my knees 😂

One thing I’ve noticed is more often then not skaters get injured doing stupid small things, maybe overconfidence, rather than the tricks that push your limits.

two nights ago I sprained my ankle trying to pop shuv over a construction cone. I bailed mid jump and had no business doing it in the first place (can't even pop shuv over a small crack). wasn't a minor sprain either...cried on the drive home thinking about how long its going to take recover physically and mentally.. you look good bro

Worst slams, injuries are always the lamest tricks. Been skating for over 40 years and usually slam not paying attention or doing a set-up trick I've done thousands of times. Rock fakies are usually to blame even though I could do blindfolded. Just pushing and falling is always fun😵 Land something super tech but can't do the basics, go figure.
