_"Limited gov is a recipe for corrupting the judiciary."_ -Moldbug
The way it ends so abruptly is jarring. I need to learn more about Cato to understand that last bit.

He just means that Cato, strongest voice for the republic, helped end the republic by driving Caesar into a corner and leaving the Rubicon as his only path out. Scoring an own goal to help end the governing status quo he, Cato, professed such love for. All these judges that would own Trump on behalf of the empire they profess to love so much do more damage to the empire than they do benefit the empire.

If anyone else can’t stand Yarvin’s writing, there’s a stream by the user Charlemagne (and a couple of guests) looking back at Yarvin’s earlier works.

Is this a common opinion? I'm in the opposite camp, I don't like Yarvin but I think he is a great writer.

Yarvin is very self indulgent and not nearly as linear as he could be when he lays out an argument.@@Ian-ig4ho

Common to who? The general public? By definition. To people in this weird sphere? Only ones who can't read or have unhealthy attachment to mascots and grifters. If I had to guess, the reason someone who was a fan of his earlier writing would begrudge the current is because Trump wasn't getting criticized in 2008. Otherwise I don't see what you would point to as some sort of turn. @@Ian-ig4ho

@@Ian-ig4hoI guess I’m in the OTHER camp - the one that listens to these all the time; the one that respects Yarvin, shares his views, and enjoys his writing.

Yarvin doesn’t care. It’s not our nation. He just said that if you want to help the Palestinians then get them away from the bloodthirsty Israelis because they have nukes and aren’t going anywhere

Curtis Yarvin strikes me as one of those people who waits to take his daily dump right before taking a shower, just to let the humidity maximize the smell of his own farts.
