Again, this isn't just about us, it's about Jungkook as well. Think that he made all those decisions being Korean, knowing the "consequences" of his actions, consequences that shouldn’t exist, don't you think he made those decisions for something?. Give them a safe place where they can rest, no more problems; that I try to do here. I clarify this because I have read all your comments, absolutely all and some say that I try to change their culture. I’m not, it is even absurd to read and it makes me a little sad that the real message of the video is not reaching some people. I'm grateful for the video. A person is a person, no matter how famous they may be and thank God for free agency. We are all born with it and have the birth right to use it. I personally admire BTS for All that they stand for. I'm grateful for their music, the performances, the really hard work that goes into all that they do. It's a little bit about the culture but it's more about the industry. It's corrupt. It's as if becoming an idol means giving up your freedom in exchange for fame. They basically have to become slaves to their fandom and that is toxic as hell. The fans are also to blame because they think they own them or something. Plus the crazy fans are in need of a therapist or a psychologist, they need help. Also, what's the point of being rich, handsome, young and famous if you can't do what you want? Personal life and work life do not mix. These guys are humans not dolls. I think that as fans outside of Korea the only thing we can do is to look down upon this toxic behavior, and maybe the Korean fandom will change for the better. We should change it for the better. This is the most heart wrenching video I have ever seen and I apologize on behalf of all those haters for all the pain caused to Jungkook. No one deserves to be disrespected. He doesn’t need to prove anything to anybody he is more than capable of anybody and has shown his caliber. Jungkook, Please don’t worry about all the negative comments and then negativity around that’s spread, there are a lot of people who love you and support you. Your heart is in the right place. People should Respect the privacy and private life of IDOLS, they are not a public property. We are all humans we need to respect other humans.

First of all thank you so so so much for making this video, I'm really glad you did it. I'll tell you a small story from 2019, when Earth was quite normal and not sick like today. So, in 2019, I used to come home from my university with my best friend, she lives in the uni dorm but she used to teach/tutor a little girl in my neighbourhood/colony. However, I'm a One Direction fan and she is BTS & EXO fan, and she was telling me that one member from EXO wanted to date someone but the fans are not letting him. And I was like "What⁉️", I was shocked beyond my comprehension and so I kept on asking her about K-Pop industry and culture. I was so shocked to learn the dark truth of K-pop industry. The performers/"idols", they almost have no rights/say/control over their personal/private life, the management, most of the cases, would control their social accounts as well as their public image. They (idols) have to follow strict diet routine (I'm like what the fuck! Aren’t they allowed to eat either?). Moreover, body shamming and meeting the expectations of the fucking "beuty standards" are way more extreme in Korean entertainment industry. These idols are not allowed to date!! I was like seriously!!!⁉️⁉️ And on top of that they would have work long hours practice singing and dancing and on top of that they've to do these reality shows and VLives and champaigns.. Ridiculous Work load... I was so upset to hear these and took a decision that I won't listen to K-pop, cause I won't support a cruel industry. But at the beginning of this month (May, 2021) I was depressed, demotivated and bored, so I thought, it's high time I should listen BTS. But I'm loving them a lot now. They're Seven Precious Young Men who are worth of the praises that they're getting. And they deserve the fame more than any artist right now. By the way, I agree with you whole heartedly.

A real fan who loves Kookie is someone who supports and will love him unconditionally and without prejudices.

I’ve had Jungkook as my bias for a very long time, and one thing is that I just can’t help but feel so bad for him. Joining the industry at a very young age, has gone through scandal after scandal and is probably the most sexualized and shipped idol out there. He’s just trying to figure his way through life yet he gets so much thrown at him. He’s the funniest, most talented and loving human being I’ve seen. He truly deserves every ounce of love and happiness that he has given to others 💜🐰

This happens bc BTS havent put boundaries in their fandom. Literally the fandom has no limits, bc the bond between them and BTS is so important, that BTS do not risk their profits to create a healthier fandom. They could stop this industry from projecting them JUST as things and husband and boyfriend material and everything, but when they'll do that, they'll lose a part of their following and profits as well. This industry is built like this so that the closer the bond is with the fan and the less independent the fandom and idols are, the fandom is more and more profitable. And I'm not saying BTS are thinking of their fans as profits, no. But being scared of losing their fans and profits and power, they've created a loophole that allows fans to overstep their boundaries and create a toxic environment for BTS, the fandom itself and anyone that comes near or against BTS. So if they want real change they shall start putting boundaries on their fans too and wake the fans up from the illusions they're living in (such as that BTS are their family, their closest partners, their possible lovers or that BTS cares and sees each and every one army).

It’s honestly so sad. This man has missed out on so many of his childhood experiences to be in this group that we love. Now, people are really trying to stop him from experiencing his adult years. Let this man live and experience life!

He apologizes for no reason, puts up with his oversexualization, puts up with ships, puts up with people criticizing every movement of his, yet he still trusts ARMY is making me so upset. I have tears in my eyes. Don't get me wrong, I appreciate him trusting us, but he can't truly be 100% himself. He can't live the way he wants to and feels guilty about every move he makes because he thinks about others before himself. People take advantage of him so much, and I sadly can't do much about it other than telling commenters and the people around me not to do a certain thing. Let's not forget that JK said that he wants to sing and dance until his legs cannot anymore and Jimin (he was the one who said about growing a beard) said that when they will not be able to dance, he wants to sit on the stage with the members and sing to the ARMYs. So it does not look like disbandment would solve their problems. Ousting inadequate and posessive fans will, I'm somehow sure of that.

I was introduced to BTS only 18 months ago. I’m still learning about them. This was painful to watch on so many levels. I live in a very liberal part of the world - sometimes too much so. I’m thankful the members have each other to lean on. It’s hard to understand what it’s truly like to walk in their shoes, but at least they understand each other. They are amazing and should never question themselves. 💜💜

Same, i see how Kpop industry is so controlling, i seen how many kpop fans make fun of “fat” idols.. whenever they are healthy. Other “favorite” idols get praised when they gain weight

Here's the problem. 98% of BTS fans are normal. They want only what is best for our boys. We will be happy the day we learn one of them has an other in their life. But it's that 2% who are mental and would hunt down these partners and possibly harm them or their families. It's those people that are ruining the party for BTS.

I have only been an army for 2 months But i have decided that will support u and bts till the end jungkook💜💜💜💜💜💜💜 I know it is weird that a 2 month army can make this decesion but it just feels right. I feel at home with them. Something i havent really felt before💜💜

My personality is very similar to Jungkooks and watching this video made me break down from the first few clips. I have not experienced everything Jungkook did but I have experienced similar scenarios and it hurts like hell. Sometimes I feel like the expectations placed above me are placed within a galaxy I can't reach. I tend to feel numb and being a sensitive person makes it even harder to stand up on my two feet without stumbling over again. I tend to spend my time mostly alone away from a person's company when I get the chance and if I do end up establishing waterfalls only I can hear the distant waves caving in towards me as I drown. I can't name every situation that has pierced a hole within my heart but I can say that slowly my trust towards everyone is disappearing. I sometimes feel like a toy, the ones you'll see in the shop, so eye-catching as it sits upon a shelf. As the toy comes in contact with a child's palm they turn towards their parents as they purchase it for them. However, this particular toy the child played with for a week eventually made its way towards the back of a cupboard, and it's only needed when other toys are nowhere to be found. I don't know when I'll escape from the fire burning me alive but something I can say is that I am luckier than others. I don't and won't consider that what I am facing is horrendous and I know there are people out there who feel ten times worse. I may have bad luck at times but I consider myself lucky as I can acknowledge components that allow me to escape reality towards a universe where only colour lights up the sky. It may not be much but they are music(singing, dancing, playing the flute, listening to groups and artists(BTS)), basketball, drawing, reading, sleeping, writing, playing games, and cousins/friends. Sorry if this comment sounds bad. I don't want attention I just feel safer opening up about my opinion online rather with someone. I am sorry, yes I have a low self-esteem.

Whilst watching this, I had to maintain myself and try my hardest not to cry. Okay so, as I watched this video I read through everything and I was just stunned. I didn't know that he was so disrespected. Jeon Jungkook, the youngest member... I didn't not know that all this has happened to him. To be honest, I feel sorry for him. As a member of the BTS fandom, JK has a special place in my heart as a person. I may not know him or know everything about him, but I love him like everyone else does. He's a really nice person, precious, and he's perfect just the way he is. I don't understand why so many people disrespected him. That's very shocking, not to mention sad. I legit almost cried. Poor Jungkook. No one should have the right to disrespect you, or anybody. I was always tought that when growing up even though I have a long way to go. (I am 14) I may be a minor and someone that's not even in high school yet but I know a lot of things that most people my age don't. I have been disrespected and hurt. (Physically and mentally) And the things people have done to me hurt. IT HURT SO BAD THAT I HAD THOUGHT OF COMMITTING.... you know. Anyways... Enough about me. Time for my word on all this. Jeon Jungkook. The poor man. I am quite sad about all this. Watching this video and reading through all of that made me want to cry. (Knowing good and well I do not know him whatsoever) I'm shocked that he has went through all of this. (He probably still does) No one has the right to disrespect or harm him in any way possible. This guy really gets so much heat for literally anything. 1. A long time ago, fans called gureum, his dog ugly and he completely stopped posting him. He adopted his baby from an animal rescue shelter and some stupid people just felt the need to insult it. That's why most people just know about the other BTS doggos except gureum. 2. When he used to frequent the internet, people would call him rude, arrogant and bratty for joking around with his hyungs. While other members are called savage for doing the same. I'm not gonna get into names. 3. Calling him talentless and no special voice. 4. Doesnt deserve main vocalist and centre. He is taking all the shine from other members. It's not fair. If he wasn't centre nobody would care about him. 5. Has tattoos so he is a bad role model to teenagers and minors. 6. Teling JK to leave BTS. He is a bad influence and giving bad press to BTS because of the car accident, picture of him hanging out with his tattooist friend, tattooing himself, and Covid 19 scandals. Some fans actually left the fandom because of the tattoos and car accident. They demanded an apology for the car accident and covid 19 scandals too. When I think about the time he cried as he read the letter to ARMY. Those who left, he said whenever they need him, he will always be there waiting. Urrgh 7. Bighit's favourite 8. Only way he can get attention is by unbuttoning his shirt. 9. He is not flexible and cant dance 10. Nosekook - Referring to his "big " nose apparently 11. Fans telling him to die in his vlive 12. Jungkook is ugly and he should cut his hair. It doesnt look nice. He should stop changing colours it doesnt suit him. 13. Jungkook is using Taekook ship for relevance. @@SL-jm1tw there were two cases, there was one where Hybe sued a 12 year old girl who claimed that JK sexually assaulted Jaehyun. ARMY said NCTizens started it, while NCTizens say an ARMY started it. The accusation was trending that it became bad, hybe took legal action. This was the time JK innocently slapped Jaehyun in the butt on stage as he was leaving. I mean they're 97 liners how do you call that sexual assault? Anyways. Second one was the girl who accused JK of rape. I saw antis amplify this rumour on Twitter. I reported ofcourse. Then the girl who started it, deleted it and said it wasnt true. It was for attention. I guess people called her out and reported as well.

Thank you for doing this, I am a newer BTS Army and he’s my favorite. I love his quirkiness, kindness and as a volunteer at an animal rescue loved the fact that he adopted/rescued his pup! Made me love him even more. He can do whatever the hell he wants and if people really are true fans they won’t give a shit. I love him to pieces 💜

It hurts me so bad that Jungkook is being treated like this. He is unique,special,loving and one of a kind he doesn’t deserve to be treated like this. The hypersexualization is a very bad habit that affects a lot of celebrities but for BTS and KPop in general is really strong. We all know that they are really handsome and there is nothing wrong with complementing them obv. But when complements become weird fantasy and decontestualization of expression or feelings it's where start to being problematic and unhealthy both for army and him. And he does not deserve any of this. He is an inspiration for us all only for being the gold, caring, sweet, talented person that he is and doesn't need to prove anything to us or anyone else.

This happens bc BTS havent put boundaries in their fandom. Literally the fandom has no limits, bc the bond between them and BTS is so important, that BTS do not risk their profits to create a healthier fandom. They could stop this industry from projecting them JUST as things and husband and boyfriend material and everything, but when they'll do that, they'll lose a part of their following and profits as well. This industry is built like this so that the closer the bond is with the fan and the less independent the fandom and idols are, the fandom is more and more profitable. And I'm not saying BTS are thinking of their fans as profits, no. But being scared of losing their fans and profits and power, they've created a loophole that allows fans to overstep their boundaries and create a toxic environment for BTS, the fandom itself and anyone that comes near or against BTS. So if they want real change they shall start putting boundaries on their fans too and wake the fans up from the illusions they're living in (such as that BTS are their family, their closest partners, their possible lovers or that BTS cares and sees each and every one army).

@@ginavoults1439 I don't agree. They have said multiple time that they don't like this treatment but they cannot control every single one of us so some fans will continue to do this things. What we can do as fans is discourage these behaviours and spread the positive things that surround them. And for the record, if anyone thinks that BTS can be their boyfriend, that's not a BTS problem because we all have a brain and if we don't use it, that's our problem. They don't fuel this behaviours at all, they only show their love for us as fandom in a calm, polite and non-toxic way. So the fault is on the toxic fans not on them because the boys have never done anything "controversial" related to the topic so as I said before the problem are the fan not them.

It's even seen in the video, they just follow whatever the industry tells them to do (most of the times). They've never said army is wrong for a lot of things they've done. Ofcourse these behaviors start from the fans being problematic, but if BTS don't try to put boundaries on their fans, bc the fans are BTS's representatives as well, then they kind of fuel and allow these behaviors to happen. I was in the fandom for so long and left bc the fandom is overprotective of BTS to the point where it becomes asphyxiating.

It breaks my heart that he even question his worth... I don't have words to describe how hearthbreaking is this to me. Is not even just that he's bias... How much hurt a person has to be to thing in that way about themselves? I'm not feeling exactly mad, but sad and dissapointed about those people that are so mean towards him and the other members as well. Sometimes I think that some people forget that they're people as well, they're humans, not robots. I wish someday he could see how amazing he actually is and how important. I think that it breaks my heart so much because I feel the same ways sometimes (of couse that I'm not comparing what he's been through with mine but I just wanted to say so). Why some people are so mean? What do they won with being like that? I hope that one day he'll feel proud of himself as we do. This video is really good. Thanks for making this.

I hope that one day, he'll stop listening to the "fans" that tell him to do things differently and be completely happy with the way he is, especially when it comes to him finding love. We as fans have no right to make him apologize for possibly being in love and happy and I hope that more fans realize this and become happy for him when he does find love. Agree so much with you. I do think there had been some groups (I shall not name but most of them seem to be in this case and not just in kpop but pretty much all over the world) and their fans that “feed off” of each other. As in... fans either sexualizing and fantasizing and outright demanding certain members to be this way because these fans demand it. In a way, in the entertainment industry, it used to be so that such demand was thought of as an attention to be grateful for...mostly by the entertainment company the group is part of... from which the company would tell and train the group members to be grateful for the attention they get even for those particular types of attention are basically perversion. And such dynamics between the group and its company and its fans often resulted in a culture where fans think such way is a typical thing to do when being a fan and where the company and the group would exploit such attention for more popularity and financial gains. I always disliked those types since I felt all three(fans, the group, and the company) are just exploiting each other and there is no such thing as a sincere meaningful bond between them. But this level of human indecency obviously cannot be applied to how much of better humans BTS members strive to be. Hearing JK again shows how BTS members are just like such rare jewels I needed to see in my life.. the one that cares for a true meaning within themselves and that seeps through in what they strive for in their relationship with each other and the ARMY and with their general audience too.... I never been a fan of any (I mean any as in 0 globally) groups or singers before BTS because I couldn’t find much meaningful aspect in any other groups. Foolishness prevailed because it is so incomparably easy to achieve it but building life upon wisdom and living with human virtues in the core of one’s heart is a life’s mission til the last breath and represents the depth of one’s soul. There is life in BTS. An actual one that shows what it means to be true to your soul and ur life. And I’m so happy they bring such light into people’s lives and I would be happier if the BTS members themselves can dig through to find whatever answer they r yet unsure of and be true and kind to their souls and each others’ souls with love as they have been doing......

A few weeks back, Jungkook had a live in which he was just eating and talking to us. He had to go to the washroom, so he asked us and said "Okay?". And even though I know damn well he was just telling us that he'll be back in a minute, it kinda really hit me. His habit of apologizing for stuff he shouldn't have to, him overworking himself and constantly being self-critical is becoming part of his nature. He debuted when he was still very young, and spent years growing up with us, dedicating time for us and the members. I feel like, at this point, the fan base is absolutely humongous, but all this keeps bringing more and more work for the members. Don't get me wrong, they've worked very hard and deserve all this love, but what they don't deserve is basic feelings being stripped away from them. Making the weirdest of ships, fanfics, edits, and whatnot. Oh, come on. Let's love them, but enough to let them make their own decisions. They've done so much for us, can't we repay that love even by half?

Tbh companies have to take 80-90% of this !! They are the ones who instilled ( no dating ) policy and marketed that idols are a fantasy for the fans…. Now the idols themselves are suffering… its easy to deal with 20+ years old fans as they know love and what it means but with teenagers (11-17) i mean they can easily believe those fantasies … not all of them…

That first minute is the most painful moment in this video for me. I hate seeing Jungkook mistreated over things that are his business and his alone, but what I hate more is seeing Jungkook say he's not sure if he could be inspirational to people on his own or whether or not he's worth anything. Knowing that he often feels like he just isn't enough...that breaks my heart. To dive into this cut-throat industry at 15 takes tremendous courage, determination, and a type of emotional endurance most people can't maintain for as long as he has. Given how BTS' popularity shot through the roof, his role as the main vocal puts additional pressure on him, yet he always performs with such passion and professionalism to the point where he actively pushes himself beyond his limits. He still maintains a purity of heart and jovial energy despite dealing with saesangs and haters who invade his privacy or threaten his safety along with the other members. And again, people cast unfair judgement on him over things that have nothing to do with them at all. On some level, he can't avoid all of this. Some of it is simply the cost of being in the public eye, but what's sad about these situations is the amount of guilt Jungkook places on himself for it all. The way he internalizes negative comments to the point that he'll apologize about things he doesn't need to apologize for is gut-wrenching because to me, he's a hero. He seems like the type of guy who will continue to give love no matter how many times he's hurt. People who want to love and look for the best in others despite the awful things they may see in humanity on a regular basis are a rare and precious treasure in this world. People who are willing to humble themselves and apologize, even in situations that aren't their fault, are people capable of changing hearts. Jungkook isn't inspirational because he's part of BTS but because of who he is as a person. I hope someday he'll realize this, but that's not up to me or anyone else. Haters will continue to hate. Obsessive fans will continue treating Jungkook and the other members like objects rather than people. Try as we might, we can't do much to stop that. The only thing we can do is to keep encouraging the members because they all deal with things like this. Showing them love is what will keep them strong, and for Jungkook in particular, that outpouring of love may help him see how incredibly valuable he is as a man, and not just as an artist part of BTS. Exactly. I wanted to expand on the stereotypes and personas a bit. It's the fact that as new fans, we learn about them as these specific personas that we begin to see them this way and, to some degree, ONLY this way. I'm happy to know there are genuinely people out there who realize, the longer we spend as fans in the industry, the more comebacks we experience, and the more we grow as we learn and mature, the more we remember that these idols and celebrities are literally just *humans* at the end of the day, who happen to be very talented, skilled, and hardworking (and have amazing stylists). They have their private lives. We have ours. Everyone has a right to be who or whatever they want. They shouldn't be restricted to what other people want to think or see about them and just be true to themselves.

I’ve been a fan of BTS for 2 months now. Jungkook was the first to draw me in. Everything he does is with great passion and hard work. The videos I watched the music I’ve listen to, he is truly one of a kind. I can relate to some of his struggles and I hope he is doing well.

Jungkook is a grown man and those toxic armys who feel they own him will have a very sad awakening one of these days .. I always pray for him to find true love and self worth soon .. I'm happy to see JK being confident these days yet you can tell he's cautious. honestly speaking as ARMYs some fail to realize he's human and like regular things like most; but because he's JUNGKOOK of BTS he doesn't have the chance to enjoy life like normal. I love how Jungkook exposed his whole arm tattoo in their very recent live. He looked very comfortable doing so and honestly, I felt so bad when he had to wear long sleeves even in the hot weather just to avoid criticism from narrow-minded people. Leave him be, he's a grown man and he gets to decide what's best for him. And as for Armys who judge him for his tattoos, just keep in mind that this man got YOUR name inked onto his hand. I feel like that's really embodied in the way they are presented to us as well.. They (also the company) give us the feeling like we can choose something, being friends with them and knowing person stuff about them. I am new to this fandom but one thing I am sure of… I don’t want people to do him what they did to Justin Bieber in his peak career. I am happy that Jungkook didn’t go to drugs and other stuff. I wish all the members stay happy always!

He obviously feels the weight of carrying the needs, hopes and expectations of all his, “Army,” fans as a huge responsibility. It’s like he’s had an epiphany, or sudden new knowledge and full understanding of what that all means. Hard enough to come to this realisation when you are older with familial responsibilities. Honestly, thank you, those things are so wrong and every time I try to talk to those people about ships and hypersexualization, do you know what they say?!! This was a very much needed video. Thank you for making this, you have a good heart. My heart goes out to Jungkook honestly, signing that contract at the age of 15, being subjected to all the challenges I am sure no one can handle as well as he did, not to mention the hardships, like having to put up with all the judgement, from people who don't mean shit. I hope our fandom can reciprocate that. There are many fans, who sexualise him, and I am uncomfortable honestly. I don't understand why they lose their minds over him showcasing his abs or just him taking off his shirt while going downstage? First of all, it is disrespectful to film that, even if it was done by accident, that clip shd have been deleted. Unless and until it was Jungkook himself putting it out, such content shdnt be encouraged. I know this is going to sound far fetched, but I hope all the army's know that jk and the rest of BTS are gonna marry someday and that person WONT BE YOU. as a fan, I am waiting for the day they would drop that news, and this, especially since jk has younger fans, will be difficult to get into their heads. I hope they self reflect and someone will be there to make these people realise that they are more than that. They are more valuable than hating on an amazing man who has done nothing but found love. It is you, you are more valuable than that, that is what BTS has been conveying thru their messages. So pls, take time to self reflect. These delulu fans aren't bad, but I'm sure there is a good part somewhere in there, and if u really love and respect jk as a fan, u shd respect his decisions and support him. Anyways, I am glad that nowadays the fand has changed, a lot. Jk has too, he is more confident, and he doesn't care about what most pple has to say, he is pacing himself, and is also having fun. Exactly!!!! I say that on a lot of platforms because people always take it to the extent that they’re in love with each other and I agree, but only as family. I feel like they’re all that comfortable with each other because they’re the only ones they’ve had for a while, not because they’re attracted to each other romantically. And when I tell some army that they say I’m homophobic and I just hate the idea of them loving each other because it would be gay when IM LITERALLY GAY. I just hate that they use BTS to try and fulfill their gay dreams or whatever it’s not fair to the boys.

Jungkook is seriously an extremely talented and kind person, I don't understand how people can hate him, he is so sweet poor guy gets so much unnecessary hate for the most petty reasons, it's his life he is an adult he can do whatever he wants to and that's none of your business he lost his childhood atleast let him enjoy his adulthood

What angers me the most is when "fans" who ship idols romantically say hurtful stuff about a third member. It is wrong on so many levels. Not only is it wrong to assume a person's sexuality but to also enforcing it on people to accept. It creates a strain between the members as well as the whole group. What these people fail to understand is "if" this ship is true, the fans will support them but till the time nothing of this sort is confirmed, it is outright disrespectful. And then fighting the other fans. All these analysis channels, analyzing things even as small as breathing in the other's direction is disgusting. People pulling out whole hotel room plans just to make a point of how somebody else is behind the camera. This needs to stop. And then targeting a third member for coming in between your delusional ship. ISTG makes me want to throw hands. They think of everybody not confirming to their ideas as Homophobic. And then they talk about how these idols need support from their fans as if they came into their dreams to ask for the said support. for a fact they wouldn't like it if somebody else was to do the same thing to them with their best friend who they consider family. So why the idols? Respect the idols. They are humans too. Ship them as friends, as a family and nothing more.

Amen. I’m just going to reiterate what you have said, WILD, if that’s ok? This romantic shipping stuff angers me to no end. I could write a book on how horrible it is. If people ship them as friends/brothers/subunit, that’s fine. That doesn’t cross a line. I enjoy their bonds as much as the next person. Even if they do ship romantically but they don’t take it seriously, they know it’s likely not real, ok, I can’t control what people fantasize about, nor would I want to. But when people ship them romantically in a serious way, “TaEkOoK/JiKoOk (insert other ship here) iS sO ReAl!!”, I have to ask, what is wrong with ya’ll? Is your life that uninteresting that you have to spend your time on this nonsense? These boys go on the internet too, they likely see all this. The photo edits, the analysis vids that seek to analyze every move and breath edited to hell missing important context make me sick to my stomach, they are so creepy and exploitative. They tell a story about every facial expression, every movement that is full of assumptions about jealousy and what the idol is thinking. I have watched all the different combinations that have been put together, they all look the same to me. There is like 21 different ships lol. They can’t all be in some polyamorous situation. Even if for the sake of argument a ship was real, this is still disturbing. Do people not get that these boys live in Korea? Where this kind of thing is still considered taboo? Coming out in Korea could have catastrophic implications with their careers, societally, maybe even with their families. Poor Jungkook can’t even have friends, tattoos or long hair without grief. I’m not saying it’s right, it’s just reality. I feel like since they believe it, they are trying to out a couple who have not come out. I think that’s gross and doesn’t support them. No one has come out, that either means there is nothing to come out with or they are hiding it for good reason. This should be respected. I particularly hate it when people use western stereotypes to assume their sexuality and do not take cultural differences into account. Things like what they are given to wear, the make up, skinship. You can’t just “tell” what they are. The same people who get angry when they are assumed straight are the same ones assuming they are gay/bi when pushing these ships. Nine times out of ten when someone gets triggered by any mention of them someday having girlfriends/wives and say “don’t assume they are straight!!”, they are a shipper. Neither is ok. I don’t assume one way or another. I wouldn’t have a problem if any of them were gay/bi, or even if they are in relationships with each other, I just hate assumptions when nothing has been announced. Nobody really knows the truth and real life isn’t a K Drama. Then you get into even more toxic shipping - anyone who does not agree with them is homophobic. That doesn’t work with me, I don’t think shipping them with girls is any better or more “moral”. I just don’t run into too many people shipping them with girl idols. Once in a while I come across one, but it’s usually people shipping members together. I’m sure there are plenty around, I just don’t see them unless it’s one of those analysis vids about one of them and a girl idol and I just don’t watch them. So we’re the delusional ones because we refuse to assume. The shipping wars among different ships gets tiring too. Then you have the ones who hate on the member who ruins their preferred ship. Jimin and Tae get the brunt of that, I just want to shake these people, honestly. What the hell is wrong with them? Then I see shippers going into withdrawals if they don’t get enough “moments”. Every time BH releases something, if they don’t get any moments, the whining my God. 🤦🏼‍♀️ Sometimes they even manufacture moments that look like nothing to me. It’s even worse if the moments they find support an opposite ship. If they get the moments, it’s shoved down our throats as significant. I can’t even enjoy their bonds because of this crap. Whether they just don’t want to see them with girls (I actually found a meme about this - “I’m a kpop fan girl, if my oppa can’t marry me, he better marry the guy I ship him with” 😵‍💫), they have a gay fetish (because it’s considered cool now, which is fine, it’s better than considering it bad, but let’s just accept them as they are, whatever that may be, shall we?) or they happen to be in the LGBT community and are looking for representation (which I can understand but I don’t think kpop is the place for that considering the circumstances), it’s just baffling to me. They are real people. They are not fictional characters you can just play with. And btw I find people who don’t want to see them with girls so they put them together rather insulting. Like a gay relationship is somehow lesser than a straight one so it’s more acceptable to them? They would probably deny that they feel that way, but I wonder? 🤔 Thanks for letting me rant lol. I feel so bad for Jungkook, and even the whole group. Sometimes I wish I was in front of them and just asking if they’re fine, because we don’t really know if someone around them are really asking them this question. I’m guessing they’re supporting each other physically as mentally but I hope that they have someone to talk to about their emotional side, their feelings and all that stuff. I really love them so much and it hurted me to see this video 😔 + Can we talk about the lyrics of Decalcomania??? I’m still waiting for the full version tho

This honestly broke my heart because although he is a Kpop Idol, he is a human being with valid feelings and he should be treated with the same love and respect he conveys in everything he does. The amount of pressure, he puts on himself in order for him to be perfect and not be criticised by people who make it their life mission to analyse all he does. I hope that one day, he realises that its okay not be perfect and one's imperfections are what adds to one's beauty. He is one of the purest souls, I know and he is beautiful both inside and out. No matter how many years pass, how fast it may go -he will always be loved and treasured because he is worth it and he is where is today because he worked hard for it and his talent is always evolving with him as he grows. I would also like to express to him, one of my all time favourite quotes by Dr Seuss. It goes like this, "Those who matter, don't mind and those who mind don't matter."
