The Ultimate guide to: ‘The Transition’ Technical Totepack.
At its full capacity, The Transition Tote can be expanded to 22 liters but can be compressed to a very slim profile when you don’t need all that space. Also, this being a tote bag first, doesn’t mean we are slacking on the technicality division. Starting from the outside, there are three organizer pockets, two of which are expandable side pockets perfect for water bottles, umbrellas, or longer items such as a tripod or yoga mat.
One of the inherent advantages of a Tote is the super quick access to the main compartment due to its open nature, The Transition however, has a collapsible rolltop that can be whipped out when weather protection is needed, or when you want to turn it to backpack mode. This coupled with a magnetic clasp, making opening and closing a breeze.
Transitioning to backpack mode, not only does the Transition Tote do it seamlessly, but we don’t compromise on the performance of this mode either. The floating padded shoulder puts the comfort of this bag toe to toe with any other traditional backpack; another padding also featured on the back panel, that also moonlights as a second padding for the dedicated laptop sleeve, accessible through the water-repellent zipper on the side of the bag, the sleeve fits up to a 16” Macbook. Still in the spirit of not compromising, we even include a removable sternum strap to provide even more granular fit adjustment and stability, especially when doing rigorous activities. Inside the spacious interior, are two mesh pockets and a floating one, lined with soft touch fabric to protect delicate items.
The Transition balances casual essence with technical versatility, effortlessly transforming from a simple tote to a highly functional pack when needed.

9:44 Bro I tried to insert my 16inch mbp2021 and it hardly fits. Yes it can get in but I need extra effort to do that. Specs also mentioned it can fit 15inch laptop, not 16 as you said.

What's the weight of this bag? I had the Peloton backpack. The previous owner sold it to me because he said it was too heavy and he was right. It was just too uncomfortable to wear even on my daily commute with my laptop and gym clothes. One thing I can say though is that it was really built tough and this looks like no exception and no compromise.

The VX21 variant, used on the demo, also sold out, is 940g. I got the X50 Multicam variant and it weighs 975g. The cheapest, and lightest, is the regular black, weighs 850g. Despite I get the heaviest, with extra attachments (I have my own Tiny Houdini and one other attachment) and my regular carry (laptop etc) does not seem it can kill my shoulder...
One question: I need help finding the pouches from your site. Would like to buy the pouches with your fantastic tote bag. Any hint?

All of the straps in this bag can be detached, in other words, they’re all optional, so it can look as clean and simple as you want it to be, but also be technical when you need it to be.
