The Transfiguration - Part One

www.truthforlife.org || By: Alistair Begg - (Mark 9:1-8) James, John, and Peter were eyewitnesses to Moses and Elijah’s appearance and Jesus’ transfiguration on God's holy mountain, and they were determined to accurately report what they saw. To those who weren't there, it seems like a strange story, but Alistair Begg helps us understand that this event was intended to give a temporary glimpse of Jesus’ heavenly glory. When Christ reveals himself to us, we are called to simply believe.

Not a sigle Cross? Is THIS a Christian gathering?

There was a cross in that room. You did not see it? He preached the cross clearly to all to the glory of Christ. Mere artistic symbolism is no substitute for that.

@@javiergilvidal1558 Maybe there is a cross out of the line of sight of viewers. Maybe one is placed up higher above the preachers head. Since it is a concern for you, maybe you could reach out to them via phone or email and express your concerns.

A physical cross does not validate a church. A church is a gathering of believers United under the death burial and resurrection of Jesus. Please read Acts 2
