Levi’s chosen occupation as a tax collector-a position notorious for greed and lies-would have left him despised by society and his family. Yet as Alistair Begg shows us, the calling of God never leaves us where we are, whether we are marked by sin or by our own attempts at goodness. His call always elicits a response.
