That's because it's an Italian variation of the originally greek rooted name Margaret, which derived from the greek word μαργαριτάρι/ margaritari, meaning "pearl." Hence why the name Margaret ended up also referring to a daisy; because its petals were thought to resemble pearls.

No but Cindy’s spitting facts in this video 😂☠️ like Daisy and billy don’t have chemistry cause they forced the enemies to lovers too damn much😂😂😂 billy was the enemy the entire time, he was not even funny or charismatic enough to be likeable, he was too serious a lot of the time. But maybe he was like this in the books? I like Billy and Daisy when they are friends/band mates/ creative partners

I thought the same thing!! For me they had the most chemistry like on the beach when Daisy confessed what her real name was or when they were making music together but since we barely saw any of that they really lacked a lot of chemistry. Cindy was so right when she said straight people or at least these writers most of the time think fighting and yelling = *passion*

Throughout this show, Daisy was like that indie girl in every movie. Pretty annoying and selfish for somebody who grew up without parental love. Idk, her character didnt make sense to me. Billy was pretty annoying too. But eh, they didnt have any chemistry for me. The best couple was Graham and Karen.
