Man this video is so depressing. Being a rail lover from my childhood, I always dreamed of being a loco pilot and loved Diesel locomotives now I understand the importance of electric one’s…..respect for all the loco pilots.❤

My father is a loco pilot. He never ever mentioned me about these issues. What a great man he is. My respect for him is increased by 50x.

Very informative & important topic which I rarely thought about. I didn't know much about the difficulties in Loco pilot job before watching this video Along with bringing newer trains, Indian railways must concentrate more on Better working conditions of their staff & enhancing railway technology like Kavachh system & Track upgradation

I am generally quite appreciative of what this government has done to improve the rail infrastructure in India and in general we need to applaud them for turning around the railways with their electrification, semi high speed, high speed and DFC programs. It is plain hypocrisy not to applaud them on the changes and any report otherwise is just political bias. However they have clearly neglected so many aspects and deserve a strong criticism on this front. It is a matter of utter shame that locomotives are not equipped with toilets. Under Swatch Bharat so many toilets were built but a government agency failed to follow its own norms. This also goes against the vision of encouraging more women in the workforce. Coming to ACs, these are not a luxury either this is the year 2023 and the locopilots on whom so many people's safety rests not being given AC and made to face the heat and dust is inhumane. The though of ACs being a luxury and unnecessary for drivers is just a pseudo austerity and a poverty mindset. I don't think there is any shortage of budget and if there is the government needs to reprioritize over other projects. Apart from the above two which are not optional but a must they need to make the entire signal system automatic and electronic which will reduce the stress and eliminate human errors. Have railway fencing so that the drivers need not worry about stray cattle or wild life corridors, install kavach on all the routes. Hire more drivers ( this will also boost employment) and ensure that the work hours are limited to 8-9 hrs a day, complete electrification to minimize diesel engines and probably come up with something on the lines of a driving assistant or an auto pilot to make things easier.

I met locopliot in train i asked how many people u hit on tracks he said many i dont even have count.

Increase in R&D budget. Judiciary reforms(fast delivery of justice and removing nepotism based selection) Police reforms Bureaucracy reforms( inculcating service mentality in babus rather than boss mentality) Education reforms(more focus on STEM and skill development and having Indic centric Humanities curriculum) Reducing Corruption in municipal bodies (most corrupt and useless orgs) Land Acquisition reforms Labour laws reforms( that supports manufacturing and curtail communist union baazi) Tax reforms(taxing rich farmers and reducing tax on salaried class) Underground water restoration. For preservation of native faith and culture NRC Abolish or amend draconian waqf act CAA Remove Places of Worship Act Free Temples from Government control Amending article 30 and Allowing Hindus also to open their educational institutions.

When I was small I used to have a thomas tricycle and dreamt of becoming a train driver but after watching this video i will never ever drive a train nor i would recommend any of my relatives to be a loco driver.

I have been saying this on multiple Videos, IR should need to install Toilets, Hot Water Kettle by which they can make Coffee/Tea and aircondition the Loco cabs

Pilot is se to kafi aram se rahte hai, unka duty hours ka maximum limit hota hai. Us tara ka kuchh karna hoga

Mere fufaji khud ek loco pilot hain. He also faces same problems.

Conclusion- railway and other groups c and d jobs is good for lower income poor people and their children not for city guys who are middle class and above middle class

Iss problem ka solution loco pilot ki sansya badana unne zada acchi facilities dena , engine ko aeroplane type se banana jisme toilet , AC , automatic machine , track check sensors , computer & IT aur advanced AI jisse signal pe dependent khtm ho sake aur AI system install karne se bohut saare kaam automatic , decision making , problem solving , processing etc acchi tarah ho sake loco pilot pe itna stress , zada work khtm ho sake .
