i hope the "influencer" era is short-lived. we're putting too much faith into people who are fundamentally untrustworthy and disingenuous 👽

Man I used to post pics of myself on Facebook all the time. Had my profile set to public and all. I had close to 2,000 friends on there. I had these young girls come up to me one day and ask me if I was Erika _____. I was weirded out, even though these were little girls, it was just so strange to me. I even had someone steal my photos and pretend to be a person with my likeness under a different name. Those two things made me realize if people want to share what I share, then I’m going to post about problems that mean the most to me. Not pictures of me. I don’t want people to know me just for my looks. Today I have 160 friends on Facebook and could honestly probably still cut that down by half to get rid of the flakey people that say they want to help with these real external problems but don’t actually do the work alongside me. No one is perfect, and I don’t want to portray myself to be

anyone who left this dude after he made offensive comments as a 12 yo, when the internet was a MUCH different place, is a lame individual who lacks critical thinking skills and empathy. If you can't imagine being a rude or offensive 12 year old in presumably the early 2000s, you probably didn't actually live then or you were incredibly sheltered. the real reason to dislike him is his taste in lavish lifestyles and his fraudulent behavior.
