    I’ve been following Razorback baseball since 1974. I’ve seen it all. Arkansas teams win a national title every 30 years. Football in 64 basketball good 94. Let’s hope baseball in 2024

    Dude, you are literally a godsend for hog baseball fans. There has not been one video that I haven’t watched (some more than 10+ times…lol) and liked. I literally only give a thumbs up to your videos. Also, thanks for putting a face to the profile. You should DEFINITELY do biopics like this more often. Kind of like “a moment in history” videos. Keep up the good work!👍

    Would love to have a video series covering Arkansas rivalries in the SEC. Like with Tennessee lately, the crazy series in Knoxville, including their walk off, the SEC championship, the series sweep in 23, and so on and so forth. Would love ones for LSU and Ole Miss, and everybody really. Keep up the great work, WPS

    An LSU one would be too one-sided in favor of LSU and there would be a lot of headaches and heartaches for us despite it being mostly in our favor since 2019.

    No win is complete without reliving it. When it comes to Hog baseball, that means no win is complete without a stewhog highlight video! I won’t lie, when I’m needing a lift, I’ll go back and remember the ‘04 super with my late uncle, or being a broke college student, during the ‘09 run. This time is truly special, and your work is part of it. Cheers, legend! Thanks for persevering some of my greatest memories. Hope you have a busy weekend ahead of you. Look forward to you finally uploading the National Championship video, sooner rather than later. WPS

    Thank you so much for posting these videos, I instantly love to re-live the wins hours or even seconds after watching live, or if I don't have the stomach to finish watching a potential loss, I know I can stop watching and wait hopeful for a notification for a comeback win and immediately catch the stewhog video to witness the magic, and binge watch all the great games of past seasons on this channel to get stoked for the coming season, ur the man

    Stew the goat. I would love a chip this year, but this feels like another ‘21 and ‘23 team. The ‘22 team was good but not as dominant in the regular season and hit their stride at the right time.

    To add on, from 2017 onward, 2022 was the only time we didn't play any home games during the NCAA Tournament. Also, Oregon St. hasn't been back to Omaha since 2018 (picked that up during the CWS rematch with them earlier this yr). They might've done a deal with the devil to get that title. As semi-noted in the beginning, I've noticed that fan support for the Diamond Hogs saw increases when the football and basketball teams have struggled/underperformed (late 2000s, late 2010s). That was the case with me 15 yrs ago when I first started following the Diamond Hogs. Football at the time was in rebuilding mode and the whole bus fell apart in basketball. I was a junior in HS at the time and I was probably one of a very small handful at my HS following the Diamond Hogs at the time. I got a baseball shirt and jersey when me and my late dad visited the U of A during spring break 2009 (I still have and wear those). And I told the story about me and my dad catching the game-tying HR vs Virginia in the 2009 CWS when that highlight video was uploaded. I do agree that had 2018 gone our way in the end, we wouldn't have had a massive drop-off. We still would've gotten various recruits at the time (i.e. Noland, Franklin, Ezell for a yr) and those we got since then. And I feel like the large opening day crowd from 2022 would've been the opening day crowd for 2019 had the CWS Finals gone our way. It's insane that the Mississippi schools and LSU are going through the hangovers that they're going through, though Miss. St. appears to have finally sobered up after 2 straight yrs of partying. Florida wouldn't be going through as bad a hangover had they beaten LSU last yr in the CWS Finals. Here's to hoping this can be the yr the door finally breaks down after knocking for so long and we can fulfill a lost opportunity. No ridiculous screw ups, slumps, or running into buzz saws, cinderella teams, or teams of destiny this June. EDIT: We need to avoid getting the top seed in the tournament and keep any Razorback jinxes away from Hog games in June. The Hogs are 0-10 all-time when an older FB friend of mine sees them in person (9 in football, including the 2012 ULM game, and the UConn game from 2023 was the other). And I don't know for certain, but from what I've seen of late, the Hogs are winless when he initially intended or contemplated seeing them in person, but didn't see them due to something popping up, change of heart, or couldn't get tickets. If so, he jinxed the Diamond Hogs last yr when he posted last April and last May about how he was looking forward to catching the team while in Omaha (and assuming he wasn't being a troll; he's guilty of that at times).

    The most fun thing about sports, to me at least, is rivalry, not trophies, and so, the best part of baseball is the regular conference season. This intense focus on the post season has already ruined college football, where all that matters is getting in a playoff.

  • @shadowmenace1672
    @shadowmenace1672Ай бұрын

    My unpopular opinion is Arkansas absolutely did continue the trend of national champions struggling after winning it all. Maybe I’m wrong but before the season was cancelled, that Arkansas team was not looking all that good. I remember us dropping a series to eastern Illinois and us almost dropping the series to Gonzaga. The pitching just didn’t look good. Batting looked about as good as it as since that year. Average but not consistent. The season being cancelled saved us

    AR baseball's offense is weak while the defense is dominant. That's how they win. They have to lean heavily on their defense.
