This truck is so amazing. It’s a far cry from its original looks and footprint. It’s still so fun and cool. Has such a unique look compared to many other builds out there. Trucks are just a different challenge and a nice change of pace from the fwd, and fwd based AWD systems I’m used to modifying. I’ve always loved the small Toyota pickup trucks. I’ve had a 79’ a 76’ a 87, a 95 and a 98 Tacoma single cab short bed. All of them have been manuals, all have been either lifted or lowered and modified accordingly. Nearly all have been swapped along the way. Even though I planned on keeping them all as a daily stock truck. That never works out lol. The itch to modify runs deep. Can’t fight it. Haha.

I went to a wrecking yard not that long ago and there was a GTS Celica in there with the 3SGE, and I wanted to pull the engine, but didn't have the time or the tools, but at a minimum I wanted the cam covers just to hang on the wall so I grabbed those. Went back a week later to yoink it out for my Corolla, but the whole car was gone already 😢
