In 1968, the first Earthlings went to the Moon and safely returned. They weren't human. They weren't primates or dogs. They were two Russian Tortoises. The only Russians to go to the moon. But they have no monuments. Their names aren't memorialized in the illustrious pantheon of space explorers. In fact, they had no names at all. This is their story. Enjoy!

Americans didn't win any leg of the space race, they just made a big fuss when they finally matched the Russian achievements, and a really bug song and dance when they built themselves a meaningless goal post in the form of amalgamating two prior achievements

- What do you mean "off course", Nooo ! Poor tortoises ! - Oooh, they got back on track, cool ! - Whhhhaaat !? Wrong angle of re-entry ?! Nooo Poor tortoises ! - Oooh, they are fine, cool ! - 20G ?! Nooooo, poor tortoises ! - Oooh, they survived, cool ! - Lost somewhere in the indian ocean !? Nooo ! Poor tortoises ! - Oooh, they got them back, cool ! - Euthanised and dissected. - *¨%$^ùù$ !!!!

Its so surprising that they not only failed to name them, but failed to do anything with them. Yes, the mission was not a full unmitigated success, but still. Poor tortoises...

Try to get a sponsor or something so you can make some more videos like the old ones, where you go places and do interviews, instead of these animated ones over and over. They are fun to watch, but sometimes a change would be good.

This episode was a slow burn

The creepy music is too loud.

Mid-range lurker, been here a few months. Title is a bit clickbaity though. I don't think it's a big enough deal to unsubscribe or be mad about but be more honest in the future, it's best not to give people ammo to attack you beforehand. Also, their names should totally be A'Tuin and Gamera.
