The Toreando - America's Professor of Ground-Fighting Adds Dozens Of Laser-Accurate Passing Details
Ойын-сауық
No doubt about it, the torreando is one of the most effective passes in jiu jitsu.
But, if it’s soooo effective, why does it gas you out so much?
The truth is, more and more guard players are getting wise to shutting down the torreando, forcing you to work double-time to finish it…
… and it’s not like these defenses are any kind of secret. They’re basically natural reactions to your movements.
That’s right, the blue belt you easily crushed one day, can easily become the blue belt who frustrates you in front of the whole class the next.
But it’s ok, we’re here to tell you that you don’t have to apply more strength and power to finish the pass.
Click play on the video above, and learn why the torreando you’ve been shown in the past simply doesn’t work anymore and exactly what you need to do to fix it.

hi! I'm brazilian. toreando is someting like pass a guard like a bull (touro) the main thing about torear is using your head against the opponent's chest. ps: our ''ando'' in portuguease is just like your ''ing'' witch means that you are doing something (touro + ando = bull + ing) but bulling means another thing

Its funny that after 10+years of Jiu-Jitsu and experimenting with every type guard pass there is, I have found my favorite and most effective pass to do at the black belt level is a variation of this pass from the feet or the knees. I do my arms a little differently to shut down certain guards that has been working really well. Here is a variation shown on the knees at the 3:00 mark kzread.info/dash/bejne/aoOXxo9vhNSueJc.html

Quick question, i have been watching you for a while and have been learning a lot from you, but why does your black belt have a white strip instead of a red one? I thought you were a teacher from the way you explain everything in such detail.

I think he's explaining for both beginners and advanced alike
The best in this technique are the Brazilians Rodolfo Vieira and Leandro Lo. Brazilians are the best in jiu jitsu.
