Same here but just started a fun scenario, the insurgentmod with lots of weak zombies, have my own quests to do.

That "Build Roof" mod is an absolute must have along with "Ladders!?", that way not only can you craft basic ladders to place and climb you can also put put up a roof piece to allow second level access to new construction without needing to grind for stairs! Some other really good mods there too and a few I added to the list for a future playthrough! On a side note that Goose Zed one looks like a great comedy companion to Filibuster Rhymes' Horsing Around mod too 🤣. Cheers as always Mr Duck!

Just started a 10 years later ravencreek run with randomized zombie stats with a friend who ive recently introduced to zomboid. We're both having a blast, maybe something in this mod list could spice things up. Love the content Mr. Duckyman.!

Could make a good additional mod perhaps? I don't see it making a massive difference though, everyone would still run the biggest bag overall.

Hi duck! Love your content but I have a problem. I started playing modded PZ for the first time and after some time I got a laceration.after that I was a nervous wreck and queasy. This happened 12 days ago and my health is always very low,I'm depressed and cannot get rid of those moodles I have the super immune trait from more traits mod but I don't know if that's the problem thanks!

I finally got around to this game and wanted to grab a mod pack with all the FUN and QoL mods that are working right now, i noticed that the workshop has a tiger tank and hoped that they had a working OP tank any tips for these ? :)

Wait I recognize that safehouse at the end. :D And ok, 10/10 recommend Immersive Hunting as an awesome core mod I always play with. The Brita patch is bugged with shotguns and needs some simple manual code tweaking to work because it has a typo in it (I left a comment on the workshop page ages ago about it with the fix), but other than that (or if you don't use Brita) it's a great pre-42 balanced hunting expansion for long term or primitive playstyles. (Also on the note of TLOU horror sound overhauls, if people want the extra horror but not the kick you in the teeth difficulty, mod #3009986824 is just a sound overhaul for zombie sound effects that I run with and works even on servers you join and it is *so* unsettling and more immersive than vanilla.)

hosting servers locally with my friends can be a nightmare because I'll say "oh it's jus a few mods that are basically QOL, a few vehicles, and some basic stuff. nothing too crazy" then I look at the list and it's over 100 long

I like hayes firearms expansion the most out of all the gun mods tbh

I really hope 42 comes with a modlist manager; the way to add custom mod lists right now is a bit rough. When you want to play something like Vanilla Extended, you hafta dig through appdata files and paste stuff in... I want better integration, where I can paste in a collection URL from the workshop, or better yet browse modlists from inside the game...

Good point, I feel pretty much the same. Not five years, not even five months, but with 11k dead Z's I don't want to lose this save I can probably reach the same stage much quicker due to more practice, but my favorite mods need to be adjusted to build 42 as well So yeah: how does it work?

Careful with wild fruit farming, for me, it caused a bug where I couldn't grow a bunch of other vegetables, wasn't even possible after I uninstalled the mod.

Cool because the Gunrunners expansion for Vanilla Firearms Enhanced just broke with an update a couple days ago. All the guns lost their 3D models.

I want the ability to have an actually house roof of my own making, with Gables on the sides to hold the slope of the roof and an actual roof that functions. I also want a chainsaw! I know they existed back in those days.

The post-apocalyptic Occupations revamp sounds like an interesting idea ... if you ignore the fact that the vainilla game is set quite soon after the outbreak, food still fresh on the table and everything. It would be interesting to have those kick in for respawns after a certain point of the game. Say after the light and water run out or even as a reward after a full year of game. From that point on there are no more "normal" people left alive, the basic occupations would be locked out and every guy left that you could respawn into are assumed to be a real _survivors_ with occupations and background options to match.

So, I'm going to be gathering some friends and we will dive into this game. I'm playing a Solo thing on my own, and once a week or so for a couple of hours we would do a multiplayer thing. We're not going to care much about decorum as shown in a couple of your recommendations. Injury Indicator looks helpful useful. I believe there is a trailer mod. The skill book recorder seems like a good idea as well. Uhm. Brita Armor maybe? The brita weapons mod someone had read made the game rather simple, and it is also less realistic. I believe there is a Vanilla weapon revamp or something mod. Are there mods to see where your other players are? Any other mods you may recommend to add to the game while maintaining its realism would be helpful.

Am I the only one who hopes to God they will update their "Server Searching" Feature?? Like bro it takes me 10+ minutes to wait for all the servers to load and I cant even Filter it by Ping/(barely by Players) And it seems just kinda a underlooked feature that is crucial for QoL, as my friends have been confused with trying to simply find a server to actually play , that has players, and good mods as the Filters are nothing like DayZ or other Modded games.....

Am new to mods scene in zomboid so if anyone knows the names for the mods I'm looking for, it'll be greatly appreciated 🙏 1. A mod that introduces bosses into the map, with each major region featuring a special boss that you need to take down. 2. Vehicle weapons and armor mod. 3. Search bar in inventory/containers and general quality of life improvements. 4. A mobile house. Be it attached to a vehicle or a big spacious vehicle with the insides being similar to a house with storage, beds, etc. 5. More weapon variety and attachments. 6. Npcs that you can rescue and get to help you farm or whatever and enemy NPCs or factions that shoot you. 7. More mutated zombies like massive hulk, spitters, etc. 8. Dynamic events like a blood moon appearing at nighttime some day that makes zombies aggressive and spawns in some other mutations. 9. More building options. 10. Dance moves! To style on them zomberinos and tea bag them

Snake's Modpack has a far better hunting mechanic and it's actually maintained, TBH snake's modpack is super underrated outside the spanish speaking community, the modpack it's a bit monolithic but you can choose what to enable

i wish they'd give some sort of reason to visit other towns, like progressively better loot

VFE does a better job balancing the firearms. I wish they could get over their crippling fear of flashlights and silencers... And slow down on adding guns before they turn into Brita's mod. I am constantly trying firearms mods because vanilla is traaash, but I keep coming back to VFE.

weird, I used to play with mods, not all of them worked. I subscribed for all of these, activated them, then put them on settings on my server but not even one from the video worked, someone knows why?
