Great to see some love for Ys: the Vanished Omens. I had that one and played the heck out of it. It was my first RPG-like game. I didn't finish it when I was younger. It wasn't until the internet came around and I was able to find how to get past a certain point that had stumped me when I was a kid. Luckily my system still worked and I was able to FINALLY finish the game after many years.

I been a fan of Ys since I played it back on SMS but I didn't find out till a few years ago that it was pronounced Es.

@@wingedhussar5528 It's funny that you mention the pronunciation. On the title screen there's some letters in parentheses after the Ys and when I was a kid I thought that was the pronunciation guide. On my tiny little TV I thought it said iss, but now on better screens I see it's (i:s). I have no idea what it means though. I always pronounced it ISS (sounding like 'hiss', but without the 'h')

Great list. Phantasy Star should always be ranked #1 for Masters System titles.

As someone who has had the SMS since 1989, this is a pretty solid list, only in my opinion: Wonder Boy III is too low Alex Kidd in Miracle World is too high Alien Syndrome and Psycho Fox do not deserve to even sniff this list
