Possession Outside receiver with a balanced skillset. Can run any route on the field and has few weaknesses but due to any combination of lack of size, quickness, and/or physicality is not best utilized in the slot. Emphasizes all traits. Routes 0-9
Vertical Traditional deep threat specialist on the outside, receiver who specializes in routes 4-9. Emphasizes Speed, Release, Long Routes, Catch in Traffic and Height
Physical* Big bodied wide receivers who can play anywhere on the field, even close to the line as a tight end of sorts. Make for excellent threats in the Red Zone Emphasizes Run Block, Hands, Catch In Traffic, Jumping, and RAC. Routes 0-6
Playmaker* Often not a refined route runner or equipped with the best hands, these receivers are exceptional after the catch but often need plays designed to get them the ball or to be schemed open. Emphasizes Speed, Acceleration, Agility, and RAC. Routes 0,1,2,9, and Crossers
Slot* Receivers capable of being quickly available for the Quarterback by either separating quickly or being a size/speed mismatch problem for linebackers and defensive backs who can win contested catches. Can be schemed out of handling press coverage. Emphasizes Acceleration, Catch In Traffic, Hands, Agility, Run Block, and RAC. Routes 0-4
*May be excluded from a player's designation as "any" scheme fit.

Olave went on record a couple times saying why he came back. He wanted to “get stronger and turn into a complete receiver and try to be NFL-ready week 1”. He also said he came back because he “feels like we [OSU] had unfinished business. I wanted another year to try to win a national championship and try to do all those things.”

He was also a 6th round pick. When you're a late round draft pick you won't get as many chances to prove yourself. I'm a big fan of pairing London with Wentz. He had a great connection with Pittman last season and they're almost identical prospects coming out of USC. London is a more fluid route runner and Pittman might be a tick faster, but a QB like Wentz needs that big bodied WR he can trust to go get jump balls.

Once again a great ranking that I largely agree with. Probably the only differences for me is that I have Watson at WR5 ahead of London, and I have Alec Pierce in my top 10 instead of Skyy. But totally agree on your top 3. Burks is a stud whose draft stock shouldn't be dropping the way it is. Jameson's injury risk is worth gambling on for the tremendous upside. And Garrett is the clear WR1 imo.

Looking at your Patreon draft board, I’m surprised that you have Kyle Phillips (UCLA) extremely low. I'll always say this; there is track speed and running in tights vs. game speed. Game speed translates to the next level, and plenty of 4.4/5 players in the next level have played well. I'm a Packers fan, so I'm doing my heavy research with the WR class, and we all know why lmao. Drake London does scare me a bit, but I do believe that Rodgers can get a lot out of him with his insanely good ball placement (Nelson's insanely good back shoulder plays). Drake London would need a complimentary piece on the other side.

I can buy those criticisms of Watson to a certain degree. The lack of production is concerning and his tape won't blow you away, other than the way he moves being so impressive. However, I'm still of the mindset that you just have to bet on the 99.9th percentile athleticism that he possesses. He kinda feels like a WR version of Odafe Oweh last year. You had similar (but more extreme) criticisms of Odafe coming out. You correctly pointed out that he was a freak athlete who had no idea how to be an NFL caliber edge rusher. And if he had been drafted by the Jaguars I think he would have certainly failed. But being drafted by the Ravens, he went to the best possible situation and was pretty darn good. I think its a similar deal with Watson. If he goes to a team and a QB who knows how to use and develop him, he'll be very successful. If he goes to the Dolphins or Jets or a team like that, he'll likely fail.

I think it's funny that this review implies that he was not first option as a senior, when he caught 40% of the balls thrown in a very deep wide receiver group. That program gets up by two touchdowns in the first quarter, and then will run the ball down your throat. Has a guy who enjoys old school smash mouth football, I've learned to appreciate watching them in the national championships, and one thing I've learned, even with three straight quarterbacks drafted in the NFL, two of which were drafted in the top three overall, they were still a running team. Watson is a once-in-a-generation athlete as evidenced by his RAS score. He has the character traits and work ethic to be a great leader in the locker room, someone will draft him in the first round, and if you put a gun to my head, I would say Philadelphia with their third first round pick.

His upside is almost as good as Chark(who the Lions signed) and if he ever wants to learn how to run his routes better,Sun God(emerging slot reciever for Detroit) and Chark would be great players for Christian Watson to learn from in terms of route running and utilizing his athleticism to the fullest. I completely agree with your boom or bust analysis for Drake London. Post combine most mocks have London as #2 WR, with Wilson being #1. I can't see why London is so high. His speed is below average. Some WRs don't have great speed but are quick in and out of their cuts. But at 6-4 London isn't quick in and out his breaks either. The force of inertia makes it harder for tall WRs to be make quick crisp cuts. He won one on ones using his size high pointing the ball and boxing out smaller PAC 12 DBs. He wont be able do that so much in the NFL. I would take Olave, Doston, and even Pickens over him.

With Christian Watson, you miss understand something. He was our top receiver for at least 2 years, and he did dominate FCS corners. NDSU just isn't the type of team that throws that much. Even when we had Trey Lance, we still ran it more than we threw it. Then this last year, neither qb played very well. He was never asked to get 1000 yards in a season. We did lots of things to get him the ball, like handing it off to him.

But remember it wasn't too long ago that people said Ross was the best receiver in this class and now people seem to be forgetting him. Calvin Austin is another guy that's really hard to leave out the top 10. He has elite speed, quickness and routes - he will make an immediate impact somewhere even though he is very small. This draft will all come down to scheme and personel fit. Your top 10 matches mine almost perfectly 1) Wilson 2) Burks 3) Williams 4) Olave 5) Pickens 6) Dotson 7) London 8) Justyn Ross 9) Calvin Austin 10) Christian Watson
