@UCyGOoG7mEHOriwrVIjh7A-A Yeah, Tenet was the only one I could think of. But after watching the video I remembered I already knew few of the movies mentioned, but unfortunately most of them are movies that normally one forgets to have watched. For me, 2020 was a year to catch up with series I hadn't watched yet! Let's hope that 2021 is gonna compensate for all the bad things last year brought! And also give us a few good movies to watch :)

@Donjie Donjie no offense, that's your choice. Parasite is no doubt a brilliant movie. But The Irishman is not the same as any other gangster movie. They should have given at least one Oscar to it. And… there is a difference between the irishman and parasite. There will be more movies like parasite in the future. But maybe, you will never see Martin Scorsese, Jo Pesci, Robert de Niro and Al Pacino collaborating for a project ever again. It shall be the last one of its kind. Again, no offence towards your opinion.

I had watched the Sound of Metal thinking it was a drummer overcoming his loss of hearing and still being able to drum. I had that mindset, so the movie was a bit hard for me to get into, but eventually I was into the story. The struggle, the heart break, the reality of acceptance, evolving change, to finding hope only to learn that you never needed it and accepting that. The sound of metal, they really put into the audiences head by having viewers hear what he heard. Wasn't my favorite movie, but I appreciate it for all those listed.

@@7Jstamper The shocking secret is that, according to this film, the medical service in Rumania is absolute bullshit, with a dangerously mortal bacteria present in many of their hospitals, and many of its disinfectants being defective. The poor health system is due to the corruption behind the main political party in Rumania: The Social Democratic party. In the film, once they uncover the truth (that the hospital used cheap disinfectants and that inhuman conditions are something common there). The protagonists try to alert the people and bring the responsible to justice, but the CEO of the corrupt healthcare organization gets silenced and killed in an "accident", the political party denies all the accusations and no one accomplishes anything, because the entire system is rotten to its core.

I haven't understood when people say 2020 had no good movies and nothing was released. 2020 had some great movies thank you Cinefix for proving that! I think my favorite might have been either Bad Education or I'm Thinking of Ending Things. So many other great ones tho like The Invisible Man, Extraction, and Soul. Great video as usual guys!
