The Top 10 Highest Daily Gain Weight of Goat Meat Breeds in the World | Birth Age to Weaning Age
Hi Guys,
In this video, I'll be showing you " the Top 10 Highest Daily Gain Weight of Goat Meat Breeds in the World, from birth age to Weaning age. 3-4 months or 90 - 120 days.
ADG can be calculated by taking the amount of weight an animal has gained since the last weight and dividing the weight by the number of days since that last weight. Your goats must have both good genetics and good nutrition.

1 BOER - It tends to gain weight at about the same rate as its sire, so a buck from a proven fast-growing bloodline will command the highest price, as its offspring tend to also be fast growers.
2 Savanna - Excellent foragers, and are able to grow rapidly with little supplemental food or nutrition
3 Kalahari Red - The kids grow very fast, and the young kids usually show weight gains of about 1.5 kg per week, sometimes even more.
4 Australian rangeland goat - They are among the best meat goat breeds and very suitable for the commercial goat farming business.
5 Kiko Goats - grow rapidly and can produce two kids per year. This lets you quickly develop a hearty herd, and the kids will contribute to the bottom line in no time at all, as they rapidly reach their weaning weight.
6 The Spanish Goats - Prolific and produces enough milk for moderate growth rates of the kids.
7 Omani Jebel Akhda - Large body size goat, comprise 20% of the total goat population of 854,060 in Oman.
8 Beetal - Relatively larger in size and they grow relatively faster. Thus they are very good for commercial meat production purposes.
9 Anglo Nubian - The breed is large, which brings associated rapid growth rates with large pendulous ears.
10 Myotonic goat or Tennessee fainting goat - had the lowest FEC in comparison to the other breeds.

Average Daily Gain (ADG) can be defined as the average amount of weight a market animal will gain each day during the feeding period. ADG can be calculated by taking the amount of weight an animal has gained since the last weight and dividing the weight by the number of days since that last weight. Your goats must have both good genetics and good nutrition to maximize their growth rate and your profits. The best investments a producer can make are in superior sires (defined as sires from fast gaining bloodlines), and a good protein supplement program.

Kikos performance out perform the Boer and should be at the top. Over time kikos have dominated the adg and survivability.

Very enjoyable video! I’ve worked with both Boer and Savannah and I generally prefer my Savannah as they are better moms, with better feet and better resiliency. I have a pure bred Boer Billy and his kids crossed with my Savannah nannies make for some dynamite growth kids! 🧨

@@ProfitableAgribusinessIdeas well, currently here in Saskatchewan, we are having our first blizzard of winter and my walking fluffball Savannah are quite at home. The Boer Savanna kids are doing very well too, blessed with hybrid water resistant outer guard hair and fluffy undercoat, are highly cold resistant. As long as you provide good food and shelter from wind/wet, they can handle just about anything. 💕

You have not mentioned sojat and sirohi breeds from india. I had both of them and they gained 10 kilograms per month
One of the finest breed from India is Black Bengal Goat(India and Bangladesh). One of the finest meat quality(tastiest). 2 times breeding within 1 and half years. Double and triplets kids.

Beetal is best for milk and meat purpose its huge breed same male are like horse i mean that breed reech even 350 to 400 kgs and milk average 4 to 6 kg per day so i think beetal is best breed in the world
