LOLxHP-Principal Alicinia Yep, cause the producers and writers seemed to think that the best way to follow up season one was with an entire season of a guy trying to have non consensual sex with a corpse.

Oh goodness I've been waiting for this one for a while now. I feel kind of bad because I know how bad this was going to be for all 3 of you. I was hoping there'd be more comedic rage but it was just frustration. I laughed at the chihuahua joke though. Hugs all around! I get the feeling Jacob needs it the most. 😊

I love Corpse Bride, actually! Victor and Emily were both really likeable protagonists, especially Emily. I honestly felt really badly for her in the end, and it's rare to see that type of story where it's the woman who's in unrequited love. But still, Amazons in its entirety is terrible, and I know to steer clear of season 2.

Had they ended with Season 1, Kamen Rider Amazons might have become a cult classic years later, something of a guilty pleasure once you've rewatched it...but...no, they just have to do a season 2.

I gotta say, I just finished season 2 and came to watch this. And honestly, I liked season 2 quite a bit. I have had a love hate relationship with this show as a whole and the ending landed in such a strong point. I agree with almost every point you make, but the two protags of Iyu and Chihiro made me tear up at the end due to how wholesome it was. The rest of it I really don’t care for, But seeing them grow really got to me. And honestly, I think that’s enough of a reason to enjoy a mediocre show like this. Hope you feel better Jacob

Nah, I like Amazons as well and think that it's just okay/average at best 👍

There is ONE scene I like this season. One. And it's not because it's great, it's because it's better than the litany of crap the action has been. The fight scene during Yellow Brick Road is... fine. If I compare it to much better choreographed Kamen Rider shows, like Wizard, Gaim, Drive or Zero-One, it's abysmally bad, but given the low bar given for Amazons season 2, I'd say it's pretty great. Other than that, the overly edgy bullshit is tiring me the fuck out. ALSO can we talk about that fucking ending? Because, Toei, seriously, are you gonna do us dirty like that? "We're gonna build this entire goddamn shitpile of a season around this inevitable conflict between Chihiro, Haruka and Jin... and they fucking fight OFF SCREEN? ARE YOU FUCKING KIDDING ME? Can you imagine if Shinkenger did that between Takeru and Juzo? Or Gokaiger between Marvelous and Basco? Hell, even fucking NINNINGER didn't dare to pull that shit off and you're telling me THE conflict that this entire fucking season has been building towards is not even gonna be seen? FUUUUUUCK that show. Yeah season 1 isn't nearly as bad, but is still not great at all, but this? This is worse than Ghost, worse than Ninninger (both of which I actually like for what they are) and worse than Wizard, which is something coming from me.

Guess what I liked all 3 things both seasons and the movie

I get that you're making content again but Jacob, will you be doing another live stream? I really enjoyed being able to directly communicate and discuss

You know when I see the logo for this Kamen Rider show I think of an Italian flag or Mexican flag.

As much as I like Season 2 I have to agree this did not work. The only ones I cared for to be honest was Haruka, Jin, Nanaha and Mizuki. Chihiro was not very good at all but I won't call him trash because I don't think it's fair.

Always love watching your videos and can’t wait for you guys to hit 6k soon! Now, I have to say, I couldn’t even finish season 2 of Amazons. I just couldn’t. It was SO GD BAD! It was basically a shit Corpse Bride that ruined every character and had no reason to be a thing that existed! If they were doing a season 2, they should’ve just continued the story from the 1st season - which wasn’t as shit.

This show should have been a remake of kiva instead of amazons . I really like kiva but it has major problems

Even if you don't like a show, I do not think you should tell people to not watch stuff. Let people decide to watch shows for themselves.

I understand where you’re coming from, but please understand that we don’t tell people what they should or shouldn’t watch. We give our recommendations, but no one should ever feel obligated to listen to us, we’re just expressing our opinions. Maybe we could work on phrasing it better, but it shouldn’t be implicit that everyone should take our word as gospel, it’s just how we feel. Everyone who watches our videos is free thinking person who can watch whatever they choose, and we’re not telling them otherwise. Again, we’re telling you how it made us feel, and whether or not we think you should check it out based on that, but we could always be better at it. That’s one of the things I may need to work on.

@@jacoblief8263 For sure, I know all your episodes are opinionated, I totally get that. It's just that I think that as a channel with a decent following, you have a lot of influence on people that watch your show, and so there may be those that are much more inclined to take your views as fact or at the very least are more heavily influenced on the choices of shows they choose to watch based on what you all say. I wasn't a big fan of Amazons S2 either, but there are some shows that I absolutely loved that you guys may have opposite opinions on (Ginga, R/B, Faiz maybe), and even though it's understood that what you all say is opinion, sometimes it feels very disheartening hearing a show you love isn't worth watching. No throwing shade at you guys at all though. Maybe it is just me reading too hard into the wording

I know it can be disheartening when someone likes something you don’t, but I don’t think it matters what someone else thinks as long you enjoyed it. No one can take that away from you. Our opinions should never take the place of someone else’s. If you disagree or agree with us, add your voice to the conversation. Let everyone in the comments know why you think Faiz or R/B is something they should check out. Start your own channel to let everyone know how art is affecting you. If you hear someone didn’t check out a show that we didn’t like directly because of our review, there’s nothing wrong with you offering counterpoints, as long as you’re being respectful.
