The myth, the legend

When I first saw this on Shout Factory TV back in 2020 this show kept me sane during the Pandemic/Lockdown.

There was another episode where the monster turned back into a human, closer to the beginning of the series. It was Hayato Ichimonji's fourth episode, the monster was pirazaurus.

My big problem with this series was how it treated supporting characters they would just vanish without a word and that just annoyed me to no end otherwise the action was pretty good especially for that era

I haven't finished KR71 yet but I've liked what I've seen. It is very charming in how campy it is and the Riders themselves are p likable and cool. I really dig the action and fight choreography, and I like how Shocker manage to feel legitimately threatening even with how generally laid-back the show is. Fun time and makes me want to check out more Showa Rider.

I like Nigo Ark the most. It saved the show from its low rating in Old 1 ark. Nigo ark sets so much formula of Kamen RIder series: Rider Kick as main finisher, Masked Combatman, Shocker's commanders, Taki becomes regular supporter, RIder girls and kids etc. and the most imporantly - Henshin ! Even red belt and sliver lines of 2 Riders, close up shining belt during henshin. And the concept of Double Riders and the first movie all happens in late Nigo ark.

24:00 Last time I checked, the Kamen Rider wiki mentioned that before they came up with V3, they had plans to keep the show going with Kazuya Taki as Kamen Rider #3.

I have yet to watch this show because the 98 episodes really makes it hard for me to find time to sit down and watch it, but I do want this to be the first showa rider show I watch because of how important it is, and I am looking forward to watching it eventually. Also I’m really surprised to see your next review is Ultra Galaxy Fight, I’ve actually seen that a couple of times and wasn’t expecting it to be a review, but I really enjoyed that special tbh and I look forward to that review.

Just watch the first 48 episodes of the show and you'll be fine.

OG Rider Kick!

If you want more Hiroshi, he also did a series of UFO Yakisoba commercials as the main character's mentor/bike named Legend. There's a whole story arc with those. UFO Ramen also did Robocop commercials...which has nothing to do with anything, but I just found out about it. As for Ishinomori, there was one other show he was working on before he died. Voicelugger. He only did some concept art, but I'd like to see you guys tackle that one sometime. It's...not good, but it's not-good in a interesting way. I've only seen the first two episodes of Kamen Rider up on KZread. But, I have read the original manga. That's..probably a much quicker way to go through things, but you do miss out on special episodes. I might have to look up episode 84.

One of the things I love about the series are the Shocker monsters. They look scary and freaking awesome if you ask me, better than what they're making them look like today.

I haven’t seen the entire show yet, but I do like it. Ichigou still remains as my favorite Rider. By the way, you guys excited for the Kamen Rider W Anime, Fuuto Pi?

I wouldn’t say I'm excited for it, but I do hope it's good. I've got plenty of other things to watch at the moment.

I loved this Season. Is really good. AND Ichigou Is still The best.

The first ultraman was way better imo, this show was just fine.
