Well kinda...I love their style but sometimes they do stupid tings like Brady jumping Laughton with 30 seconds left when they had a chance to score. But apart from that, yeah they're great to have on your team and very fun to watch!

Next time they matched up (video link in NHL Videos for kids reply below) Ratchuk fought Dumba in retaliation. Dumba tore a pectoral muscle during the fight and missed the remainder of the season. Edit, just realized you were both comments... :)

that kassian one makes me wheeze everytime

Their style of play really grinds my gears. They're both talented players who can score points, and they're both physical with the ability to annoy their opponents, which is a really useful combination for a team and there's nothing wrong with a top six forward being a pest as well as a scorer. However, just like Brad Marchand, Tom Wilson or Andrew Shaw, a lot of their plays are so damn dirty. Ugly whacks to the midsection, cross-checks from behind, reckless checks towards the head and so on. I love to see players be rough and throw their body around - it's even more impressive if they can make a lot of points as well - but we see so many unclassy, unnecessarily dirty and cowardly plays from both brothers that I just can't stand them.

wow! Nice comment and yeah I agree. However I do think that these guys are people who you want on your team because they annoy others so much. And yeah I agree they're dirty but hey at least they can score too! They are pretty much Tom Wilson but with fewer hits

@@thebestofhockey8684 I agree to some extent, but there are a lot of gritty players that don't make that amount of dirty plays. As a team mate, I would be much more willing to stand up for, say, Tomas Holmström or Matthew Barnaby than the Tkachuk brothers, simply because Matthew Tkachuk (for instance) deservedly gets himself into trouble by opting for plays like elbows to the head or cross-checking someone who's down on the ice (both in the video). He's still your team mate and you have the code and other obligations to get involved if he triggers a line brawl or gets jumped, but I'd much rather fight someone over a team mate's clean, hard hit than over a nasty, unnecessary whack from behind that could easily have been avoided. That being said, they both have huge potential, I just wish they'd be a little less careless. Great video nevertheless!

4:55 I’ll clear it up, so 15 seconds ago the puck was in the Ottawa corner on the right and Brendan Gallagher hit Chabot in an awkward way which hurt his knee for a possible injury but he was cleared and played the next game. That’s why Tkachuk was going after him like a dog because he is very loyal to his teammates.

One of the things I want to do most is go to Canada and watch a professional Ice Hockey game. Not for the fights..I think the whole game, its tactical side and the power, stamina and strength needed is awesome! Such an awesome sport!

From the London area roughly so a big time Knights fan. Matthew was a huge part of our Memorial Cup win the season he spent here. It doesn't surprise at all but in today's game of "no accountability" it still amazes me a little the way an 18 year old kid can come in and be a PITA right from the get go! Big time respect for Matthew's game and his Dads game. BUT as far as Brady .... can't argue the skill is impressive and the compete level of course. But he is a Senator, LOL.
