The Time Tunnel 1966 - 1967 Opening and Closing Theme HD

Ойын-сауық

The Time Tunnel is a 1966 - 1967 U.S. color science fiction TV series, written around a theme of time travel adventure. The show was creator-producer Irwin Allen's third science fiction television series, released by 20th Century Fox and broadcast on ABC. The show ran for one season of 30 episodes. Reruns are viewable on cable and by internet streaming. A pilot for a new series was produced in 2002, although it was not picked up.
Project Tic-Toc is a top secret U.S. government effort to build an experimental time machine known as "The Time Tunnel". The base for Project Tic-Toc was huge and located underground in Arizona, with no visible entry. The only way in was a large secret panel in the desert floor; when it opened, a car could descend into the complex.
Once the panel closed, only the desert was visible. Tic-Toc base was a futuristic series of complexes 800 floors deep and employing over 36,000 people ("12 thousand people in each of those complexes"). It was under the command of Lt. General Heywood Kirk (Whit Bissell).
The center of the base was The Time Tunnel control room where the Tunnel was located. In charge of operating the Tunnel were Dr. Ann McGregor (Lee Meriwether) and Dr. Raymond Swain (John Zaremba). The date at which it was operating was stated as 1968, which was two years into the future for the initial TV audience.

My fiancée got us tickets to see James Darren give a dinner concert on Friday, May 2, 2014. My sweetheart was no shrinking violet and she was able to get a semi-private audience with the man after the concert. Oh, yeah, she mentioned The Time Tunnel for the both of us and Moon Doggie, etc. What a blast. Mr. Darren was so patient. Bobby Rydell was there too and sang a couple of songs with James Darren. My sweetie made sure to bend Bobby Rydell's ear too. I got to shake his hand and thank him for everything. I also told him that watching Bye Bye Birdie (1963) would have a new and added dimension which made him laugh.

@@jknuttel I think that there were occasional suggestions that the "Universal Translator" on the Enterprise extended its field of operations to ground missions. Far from a perfect solution, but at least it acknowledged the problem, which "The Time Tunnel" never did. I suppose the genetic similarities between the various races on "Star Trek" were accounted for by the interplanetary seeding in the episode where the Terrans, Romulans and Klingons all traced their origins back to a common source.

We used to go visit our friends that I have known for 60 years They had 3 boys and I had no brothers or sisters. They had a couch in their living room and what we used to do it is turn the couch and pushed it away from the wall and we'd come tumbling from the wall over the couch like they did in Time tunnel. This was in the mid-60s early 70s. The most simplistic of times the best of times kids didn't need no game boys or electronic devices y'all created your own playtime from the creativity of your brain and mind. The house where my parents friends had lived is still there in the western part of Toronto and my friend's mother who was my mom's best friend who passed is going to be turning 97 I believe in January. would like to see them do a remake of this series in a made for TV or movie theater show.
