It was a bad look for mathieu to tweet and then delete it afterwards. Even if it was or wasn't his intent to make it look like brady used a slur or not, it almost doesn't matter, he tried to insinuate something worse than just trash talk. Deleting the tweet just makes people more interested in inserting more narrative between the lines than there actually was.

I rooted for the Chiefs due to my fellow Red Raider, Mahomes, but the Bucs won that game because they had a game plan and executed it, while the Chiefs thought they would roll again. All the talk about penalties, which were earned, negates the incredible job the Bucs did to take Tyrik Hill completely out of the game. The Bucs were easily the better team that day. I have zero problem with the trash talking on either side, but if I was the KC coaching staff, Mathieu doesn't play the 2nd half. I was shocked they put him out there; he was clearly out of the game mentally. He was was only going to hurt, whomever his backup was, would do better, just by not adding unnecessary yards. When the Chiefs trotted him out in the 2nd half, I knew they were just hoping for everything to work out, rather than planning to win. The Bucs won that game before the teams even showed up to the stadium that day.

I swear he called me something like, hey, wait, what, Brady was mic up? Dam, now I cannot use my race card against the refs. Same ol, same.

Bruh people got to bring race into everything. Tyrann literally walked up to Tom Brady and said some shit that was prolly really bad and the ref heard it. I don’t think responding with “I’m coming at you all game” is a penalty inducing thing

Refs definitely saved the Chiefs when Patrick went down against the Browns. The Superbowl was so far from being close, it ain't even funny. A couple bad calls wasn't the difference maker in this one. ✌

Gotta say, those PI calls looked legit. I know a guy who doesn't believe the Beatles wrote all those songs. Guess what, there are some great people in this world

The fact that Tyrann deleted the vague claim about Brady proves that he was entirely aware that his tweet was inflammatory and divisive, glad he took it down, but that's a prime example of "cancel culture", making an unbased claim you hope sticks, luckily people saw right through it and Tom has audio evidence to cover himself

Anyone else notice how much Brady knew about Matthieu? He knew his season statistics and has obviously watched film on him. But Tom knew about Matthieu's entire career. This isn't some sports analyst who studied a bunch of film right before a segment. He's on the spot in a free form interview and he's just rattling that stuff off. Where he was drafted and how he played in Arizona, positions he played in college, etc. Considering all the players he has to prepare for, to know that much about a single player and be able to recall it on the spot is freakish.
